The instruction leaflet provided is completey inadequate. The barcode on the leaflet didn't take me to the full instructions, took an hour to find the instructions online. It's complicated to use, not as user friendly as previous combi microwaves I've had and although it's the same size on the outside the inside is much smaller. The grill rack is too low and the grill takes along time to heat up. The 'heatblast' is really just a convection oven (not explained in the leaflet) and isn't any quicker than a normal oven. There are settlings for combination cooking, grill & microwave or oven and microwave but no non metal racks to go with it. The controls could be difficult to use if you have mobility problems like arthritis or Parkinsons as you have to push buttons, then turn the dial, then push the dial in and then turn the dial again and then push another button! On the plus side it does work (once you've found the instructions and deciphered them) and does cook food.

I must admit, I was a little unsure as to whether I should order this Combi-Microwave. My last one (which was a Panasonic) lasted about 15 years, so changing Brands was a bit of a leap of faith. After considering the specification, multiple cooking options and reviews, I decided to dive in at the deep end and invest in the MC28M6055CK by Samsung. When it arrived, it was well packaged and after opening, I quickly realized that my decision was the right one... Visually, it looks smart and modern. It's size is slightly more compact than my last Combi and the control pad looks sleek and modern. The dial turns beautifully and both the control pad and the opening mechanism feels sturdy and well made. The LCD display is easy to set and I love the blue lit display. This all leads to the Combi looking far more expensive than it is. The capacity is perfect for 2-3 people (which is perfect for me) I think that if you have a medium to large family, you would want to invest in the next size up. Cooking is really easy. I love the 'Slim Fry' program which cooks chips and potato wedges perfectly. I made honey roasted parsnip slices which were amazing and ready in 9 minutes! The auto defrost is amazing - far better than my previous Combi and the 'Hot-Blast' function crisps up jacket potatoes a treat.... really can't wait to try crisping up some pork crackling for my husband! The combi and Hot Wave functions reduce cooking times far more than my conventional oven and there's a marked difference in the cooking times in comparison, so I find everything takes far less time than normal. I've used the grill function has a fair bit too and as there are two different grill stands included, you can taper the height of your food to the grill with ease. In summary, this Combi has been used multiple times every single day since it arrived and I love it! Best machine I've purchased for a long time... I'm over the moon.

So we ditched an old microwave and a small halogen oven and replaced them both with the Samsung Combi Microwave Oven. We are, what we consider, a normal busy family, whose previous microwave was tasked to baking the potatoes and heating up baked beans and an occasional ready meal when the adult-child suddenly visited. Our first attempt cooking our oven chips using the "hot blast" was successful, 2nd attempt was badly mistimed and we ended up with just fishfinger sandwiches! There are several functions which we will definitely try to get the hang of using like the "slim fry" and the healthy cooking features, as well as an interesting dough proof/yoghurt programme. Though even the simplest attempt still requires us to refer to the easy-to-read manual, all new things take time and practice... Tonight, I'm attempting to cook a chicken in it, so fingers crossed otherwise its fishfinger sandwiches... again!

Only had this combination microwave for a week and absolutely love it, it does everything I want and more. I had a Panasonic combination microwave which has lasted almost 20 yrs and was going to get the same make until I saw this Samsung one, I'm so glad I went for it, it look very sleek and stylish in my kitchen and is used everyday, I find it very easy to use as the manual explains everything clearly. I highly recommend this product.

I bought this as I needed a microwave to save time in the kitchen. Although this was the main reason for purchase I find I use the other functions a lot more. I have started using the hot blast feature instead of my regular oven as it preheats a lot quicker. The results are also a lot more even as the food is rotated. I have not had to turn off the turntable yet as it’s very big. I also use the grill a lot as it is easier to view how the food is cooking without losing and of the heat This Is also great for browning things like jacket potato’s so you get a crispy outside and soft inside. Having so many auto programs also takes the guess work out of times and what combination to use. I haven’t used the yogurt or bread proof features yet but often bake fresh bread so will be testing it shortly. Overall I’m really impressed with this appliance and it saves me a lot of time especially when pre-heating or using combi-mode.

The oven is capacious and sturdy. What really impressed me is the functionality. The “hot blast” (conventional oven) gets to temperature in 4 or 5 mins (much quicker than my electric oven) and cooks well. Pastries and cakes etc are fine. The air fry function creates healthy chips or vegetable in with little fuss and almost no oil. The combined hot blast and microwave is phenomenal for cooking pasties...cooks the filling and the pastry fast and well. One star deducted because the instruction booklet is poor, I will have to do a lot of experimentation. Also because when setting certain functions you only get 5 seconds between selecting time, heat, food code etc...when trying to read the booklet and punch in the information, the 5 seconds is too short. Why set a time limit anyway?

Can't fault the product, easy to use, simple. Be aware of is size does require realty deep worktops but in most cases will be fine. Also AO have delivery date and times which is fantastic as waiting all day for a parcel is a real pain in the modern world. Highly recommend.

With some one who has limited kitchen space this is a great addition to it. It does most things I need from a microwave come cooker the hotblast is great cooks very quickly I’ve done quite a few things with it. You can safely say it’s much more than just a microwave and still working out now to do more cooking with it.
