Stylish, time saving and absolutely no mess

For me, this is the perfect solution to large energy wasting fan ovens and cumbersome air fryers that you don’t always want occupying your work surface. It will take a while to understand just how many cooking variations / possible food combos you can achieve using both the instruction book and adapting favourite recipes. The codes written on the top ledge behind the door are a handy reference point. We already have ideas for accessories to expand our repertoire like glass saucepans to steam vegetables in. The trays and racks included are easy to lift in and out of the unit and their safety feet ensure that they will stay put wherever you choose to store them rather than fall off the shelf. We’ve managed to produce lovely potato wedges in it, crisp bacon beautifully without drying it out. I also find it very easy to reduce the temperature and adjust timings because the controls are very responsive. I “scald” my milk for masala chai tea in the same cup lm going to drink from. Similarly we can use the same bowls for soup and sauces. We are saving on washing up, time and there’s no more greasy mess after grilling or frying. I highly recommend this over merely upgrading your existing microwave and getting an ordinary built under oven. At 28 litre capacity it’s quite capable of accommodating a roast dinner, baking biscuits, bread and cake. It even helps proof the bread dough or makes yoghurt. This coupled with an efficient induction hob will cover all of your culinary needs. My ONLY PROBLEM is l can’t get anywhere near it since it arrived. My son has struck up quite a love affair with it. He’s fast using up all my best ingredients. We bought it on a special offer after doing the maths on wattage, space, function and style. It’s black satin finish is virtually maintenance free and it’s very quiet although the end buzzer/ alarm ring is audible enough from another room. If you buy this you’ll no longer have an excuse for eating poorly, forgetting to eat or worrying about how much washing up there will be afterwards. Don’t hesitate. Take advantage of any special offers.

    Beware!

Three months after I purchased it the Start button wouldn't work unless the Stop button next to it is pressed first! Another 3-4 months the display started occasionally displaying digits wrongly i.e. it displays 0 instead of 8 or sometimes it displays something doesn't look like a number! Yesterday ALL buttons stopped functioning, except the start button and when pressed the only way to stop the microwave is by opening its door. I phoned Samsung customer service and they reminded me the warranty on this product is 1 year only and if I'm referred to Samsung repair centre they will charge me for the repair. I really thought with moderate use this MW should last a few years without problems, but it isn't! I’ve only had it for a year and a half now!

Have put complicated as a con simply because this is so new and it takes a while to get used to all the different settings. The biggest problem is that the instruction manual needs to be edited to make it more user friendly with a better cross refereence to various functions. MNore recipes would be good as well or a seperate recipe book at an additional charge maybe. To be fair, I have only used this unit for a few fdays but I did grit my teeth and tried the whole chicken on the hot blast auto. I was very dubious as I only had to press one button and the time of 30 mibns came up. Thinking I could always put it back in if it was underdonw I went ahead.I was amazed. The chicken had crispy skin, a lovely golden brown colour and the flesh was perfectly cooked and moist. This was only a basic range chicken from supermarket but it was transformed in my microwave. I am now about to cook grandson a breaded chicken portion with crispy french fries and have every confidence it will be great. Going back to the instruction book, the reason it needs re-doing is because for a while I shall need to refer to it when cooking differfent things in different ways, of which there are many, but as it is written I have to keep flipping through to see what I need to do. After a while I should remember but whatever, I love it and it is worth every penny.

    Faulty, lasted 18 months

Bought in January 2021, used maybe twice a week to heat up soup, most of the buttons have now stopped working and even the clock display is partially defective. Utterly useless with a hopeless user manual. Look on other websites for all the 1* reviews for this obviously faulty product, not fit for purpose! No wonder there is only a 12 month guarantee on it! Not AO fault but maybe they shouldn’t stock it.

Very loud ratting sound every time microwave is turned on

    2/5
This is supposed to be a high end model from Samsung and so the expectation were quite high when I purchased it. But rather very disappointing impression after a couple of uses because it makes a very loud rattling sound when its is running. Even my very old low end model was much quieter. Other features like HotBlast and SlimFry and a plus point but the loud sound puts me off. Not happy :(

Failed after less than 3 weeks use. How bad is that? Doesn't even rate 1 star, hope the replacement lasts longer.

I have had this microwave for 2 weeks now. It is very well built and looks lovely. It is a very efficient machine. I previously owned a Panasonic combination microwave. I have to say I have to agree with other comments, this is confusing to use! The user guide has some very strange auto programmes, eg.how to make a quiche. I have yet to work out how you cook a simple jacket potato, whole. The instructions tell you to cut it in half. And I love to bake and would like to use a combination method but it does not give any guidance. It is very much a matter of trial and error and the time to do this. I would say Samsung, you need to listen to your users and quickly produce a comprehensive user guide. I bought this to speed up meal preparation and I'm sure it will, eventually.

    New Microwave

Bought this microwave to replace a different brand that I only had for 18 months when it packed up. This one is slightly smaller but is a lot quieter is easy to use and looks good.
