Absolutely loving it! Having put up with faulty, glitchy, picky Bosch induction hobs for years, we opted for a Ceramic hob which was a big mistake but found this AEG Induction Hob on AO, and it really is true dream to use. None of the fuss and noise the others made, with blinking lights and beeping beepers every time a drop of water touches the surface. This AEG hob is mild mannered and a pleasure to own. It looks good, behaves itself and works exactly as it should. There isn't anything to dislike about it. Absolutely no regrets about buying this hob, just wish we'd done it years ago.

Replaced an old solid plate hob for this induction. Easy to fit, had to enlarge the hole but fitted using existing wires as cables are not supplied. To get things to fry or boil need to be over ten setting which has a low hum but not annoying. Still warm even after warning light goes out but will not burn. After some getting used to, I'm very pleased with this product. Comes with 2 year warranty.

Product seems to do all it is supposed to. As yet not had much opportunity to use it.

Easy to install (albeit the screw terminals almost seem undersized for the gauge of cable needed). Be mindful (as with most induction hobs) this doesn't come pre-supplied with cable - you/your installer will need to source this yourself. Touch controls are fairly responsive, the hob is very quick to heat up/cool down, and handles larger pans well (30cm+). Fan is audible but not overly loud. The per-heating area timer function is great, as is the auto-off if no pan is detected. There's a high pitched whine that can be heard with a particular combination of hobs/power levels, which I'm hopeful will go away with time. Easy to clean.

A touch panel that works! Looks well with good finish, any size pan on any ring is a good innovation. Looking forward to lower energy bills after removing ceramic hob.
