This hob certainly warrants the premium price point, it screams high quality even before you turn it on. Aesthetically it is sleek and stylish, bringing elegance to what is usually a boring work surface. Functionally, this hob has been a pleasure to use so far, bringing all the bells and whistles to the party. From the responsive touch sensitivity to the power boost function and extremely convenient built in timer this hob performs flawlessly. I would certainly recommend this product to anyone in the market for a premium cooking experience. Well done AEG, absolute perfection!

We have recently had our kitchen refitted, including all new appliances. We decided to switch from gas to an induction hob and chose an AEG one based on consistently good reviews I had read. I was hesistant on whether switching to induction would be a good move but I love it. The touch controls are super responsive and make changing the temperature during cooking easier than my previous hob. The fact that the cooking zones adapt to the size of each pan is really handy as it means you can use 4 large pans or 4 small pans at the same time if you need to and not have to only use pans that fit on a specific sized ring. I love the power boost function. It's ideal for doing a quick bit of pasta etc for my toddlers dinner as the water heats up very quickly, even quicker than boiling the kettle. The hob looks so sleek in my new kitchen and it is so much easier to clean than my old gas rings especially as only the area under the pan gets hot so I can quickly wipe any spills whilst cooking. Based on my experience of using this induction hob I would 100% recommend it, especially if like us you are unsure whether to switch from gas or ceramic.

I amused with all those heat settings that to simmer would be around number 6-7 heat setting, but it's around 9-10, It's no big deal though and I'm more than happy with the hob.

So easy to use and clean heats up super fast and you can control the heat just like gas so your soup or whatever your cooking is not bubbling out of the pan heats food evenly. It has a cooker to hob function so if your extractor fan has the same function the hob turns your fan on for you great little function. 10/10 cannot say enough about it.

Building work is still in progress so we haven't been able to install this yet. We liked the large flexible cooking areas and especially the immediacy of the controls. Reviews suggest that the bevelled edge may be vulnerable to chipping, and we hope this won't be an issue as we much preferred this look to one with a stainless steel rim.

What a beautiful product and what a difference between my 10 year old electric coil hob. Meets modern days safety standards. Brilliant piece of engineering. The best thing about this induction hob is it save a lot on your bills. Say you are cooking some meat and its almost done, just lift the vessel from the hob and the power to that particular hob cuts off. Very easy to use and clean.
