    Excellent product at good price.

    Very sleek and looks expensive. Great controls like simmer and stay warm. Rapid boiling from 7.2kw. Excellent safety features protecting "little hands".

    Perfect gas hob replacement

    This hob works great, and was the perfect replacement for our gas hob. We have a quartz stone worktop, so needed a hob with the dimensions 480mm (rather than 490mm, which most induction hobs) to avoid additional expense and waiting time to get a tradesperson to cut the stone for us (AO will do any other counter, which is great). As such, our options were limited, but we're really happy with what we got.

    I originally ordered a ceramic hob but am delighted that an induction hob was provided. Yes it was more expensive but is exactly what I needed

    Fantastic new toy for me to play with. Have had fun trying to learn how to use the job. And cooks very well. Have only been able to use it this week as still installing the kitchen but I am very happy. It’s also a pleasure to clean, cleans easily and well and stays clean, until next use, but I now have a kitchen I can be proud of.

    Terrible customer service from Hotpoint

    The hob was fine until it stopped working, found the buttons a bit annoying as they often are on induction hobs. The hob broke within the 1 year guarantee and I’ve been without a working hob for more than 2 months. The Hotpoint service has been absolutely terrible. 7 engineer appointments and 3 of them no engineer showed up to, without communicating the need to cancel so you’re waiting in all day. Only reason I’m finally getting a replacement is cause the last engineer told them to stop messing us around. This was after me myself having talked to them several times communicating very clearly that I wanted a replacement as it wasn’t getting fixed. Because of the customer service from Hotpoint next time I’d definitely go with another brand.
