Recently bought this product to replace my last Panasonic Microwave which has lasted 15 years. For anyone who wants to purchase a microwave with the additional functions of a grill and oven, this is the model to buy. A Smart looking machine that delivers on every level. I've been impressed with its simplicity of use and would definitely recommend.

I owned a Panasonic inverter microwave for several years, I would guess ten. I had to replace it simply because the display, which had never been very clear became even harder to read. I bought a replacement Panasonic of more or less identical specification but with an improved display and "touch pads" in stead of buttons. We could not get on with the touch pads finding them hard to press and find, so within a week we gave it to our son and bought this model which we have found to be perfect in all respects with proper buttons plus the improved display. It has all the many functions of our original oven and looks magnificent in stainless steel. In short I believe we have now found the perfect microwave, for us at least.

I''d give it a 7/10 so far. It's still early days but... Microwave is good and powerful, the oven is fine but you need to remeber that your size of roasting tray is limited by the fact that the turntable rotates so the diagonal size is a limitation, we are looking for a circular roasting tray without handles but high enough sides to shake spuds about without losing a few. The grille is pretty poor as it only hits the back have of the turntable and the stand is not tall enough to get a decent heat on the item being grilled. Tried to make cheese on toast and it took twice as long as usual as the item cools down on the front half of the rotation. This is the first combined convection / microwave that we've had and each time I use it, instead of our main oven, I'm left wondering how I'm going to warm plates / cook peas, and other things that we used to use our old microwave for. Quite like it but not as much as I hoped for, and boy it's very noisy both with the fan running and electronically. I can't use my bluetooth headphones within 6ft without them dropping out, and I've had to relocate my DAB radio.

I researched a lot before buying this Panasonic, and I'm pleased to say I made the right choice! I haven't found anything negative to say, so far, apart from the fact the instruction booklet is very complicated. I have used the grill, which works well, the convection oven to roast a small joint, the combined microwave +oven to cook cauliflower cheese and the microwave for defrosting, which does the job without cooking and drying the food. The auto cook on microwave is great for vegetables, but you must know the weight, so keep scales next to the oven. I haven't made any cakes in it yet, but I expect it to work well. I highly recommend this oven, and I personally don't think it is noisy at all.
