very good machine, lost a star for poor instructions. If you need to remove items between wash and dry, use "wash only" - there's no wash only setting. You can turn off the drying sequence but here is no mention of this in the "Drying levels" section

Very disappointed in both Hotpoint, who will take 11 days to attend to a brand new machine that never worked (and has been the subject of repeated service calls, and especially Appliances Online as the retailer who won't simply replace the faulty machine without charging for it as a "used" machine. And I have paid for their 5 star service...

I've had this for several months now and it's the worst washer-dryer I've ever owned. Almost all the cycles take a ridiculously long time, typically around three hours. The drying functions are useless and rarely leave clothes fully dry, no matter how long you run them. It's caused pilling on lots of clothes, which has never been an issue with previous machines. Absolutely hate it and will avoid Hotpoint machines in future.

VERY loud clunking when dryer is on so can't use it. Was told by AO and Hotpoint that if this is normal for this washer dryer I need to pay for his visit. Bith AO and Hotpoint provided awful customer service after I called to explain the situation. The instructions are overly complicated. Spent 90 mins trying to get through to Hotpoint. Do not buy this model. No more purchases via AO and Hotpoint for me.

Had it for a couple of weeks now and used it quite a few times. The variety of programmes is great as well as the drying times which is often a bad point for washer dryers. In my experience it's washed and dried my things in less than 5 hours and that's a dry where you can actually put clothes on straight away without feeling uncomfortable. There are other drying options for cheaper electric bills but I keep it to highest setting. The others are fine but I think it relies more on spin for them. Only real downside is that it can get very loud and vibrates a lot. Not an issue if you do what I do and have it running when you leave the house or during the night when your asleep. Perfect if like me you hang your clothes to dry but sometimes need something in a rush the next day or in a few hours.

Great machine, not noisy and easy to use. I love the bedding & towel wash and dry setting - just pop it in overnight and things are dry in the morning!

Very pleased with my purchase of this washer dryer which is really quiet in my kitchen diner. Great choice of cycles and options for temperatures and spin speeds. I particularly like the 30 minute, 30degree, rapid wash as my clothes etc are not usually heavily soiled. I also like the steam refresh option.

Really good washer dryer for the price. Long cycles but great washing results.
