Gets dog hair out of the carpet first time every time

This is the best vacuum cleaner I’ve ever used! The Henry Xtra solves all the issues I had with the previous upright bagless vacuum cleaner that I grudgingly tolerated for several years. Putting it together was very easy and Henry’s happy face makes me smile every time I use it. Although cute, it feels very sturdy. The suction is incredibly powerful, and if you find it is too strong for your carpet, there is an easily adjustable valve to reduce it. It comes with several tools, making it a doddle to vacuum anywhere, even in the tightest of spaces. It has such a long reach that I can even do my ceilings while standing on the floor. That previously hard to reach area on my stairway is no longer hard to reach. My house has never been cleaner, and I realise now how woefully inadequate my previous one was. For such a powerful vacuum cleaner, it is surprisingly quiet. I also love the extra long windup cable, meaning I just need to plug it in one place to be able to do a whole floor of my home. I have not changed the bag yet (I expect it’ll be a few months before I need to) but I can see how easy and mess-free it will be to remove and dispose of a used bag and insert a new one. I’m very happy that I will never again have to suffer the horrible dust cloud that occurred every time I emptied my previous bagless vacuum. All in all, a fantastic vacuum cleaner!

This vacuum cleaner is quite impressive. It is very powerful and does a good job of removing pet hairs from rugs and sofas. It’s easy to clean and the bags are a great size to hold lots of dust and dirt. The cord is nice and long although the Henry is a little clumsy to pull around this I think is outweighed the the great job it does. This hoover is a bit too heavy for cleaning upstairs often as we struggle to carry it up and that is a downside. Overall the Henry is a great vacuum especially if mobility isn’t an issue. This mode comes with the pet attachment, the only problem with this is I can see it might be potentially difficult to clean due to the way it’s built.

The Henry Xtra is just as amazing as a regular Henry but has more suction and loads of accessories to combat every room and family member, even the furry ones. The turbo tool removes ground in dirt and pet hairs whilst the soft bristles of the dusting brush prevent scuffs and scratches. I personally love how the Henry has an on-board tool area so you can keep them with him at all times. I love the long cord which means I can plug in downstairs and do half of the house before having to re-plug to finish the rest. It also has a super long hose and can reach the ceiling to clean of dust whilst being sat on the floor. The only problem with Henry vacuums is that they are a bit clumsy and get caught on door edges and walls a lot, and trying to pull him can cause him to tip over.

My Henry Xtra, has lived up to expectations! Great pulling power on the variety of surfaces, different thickness carpet, tiles and awkward stairs. Great variety of utensils making access easy and versatile when cleaning the car. All round great vacuum cleaner.

Bought to replace a really good Vax that we used for our Dog Grooming Business. I was a bit dubious at first, as I'd only ever used a Henry many years ago, but this one is great; plenty of suction and much lighter than the Vax that it superceded.
