Terrible product. It was working fine for one year so basically warranty period. As soon that past within 2 months we had 4 times someone to come and fix it. Every time it was different part broken, we are waiting again for engineer to come and fix it. We purchased it in January 2021 and in February 2022 problems started. We have April and 4th visit to this washer/dryer. It is a joke

A terrible experience. The machine gets ‘stuck’ at certain parts of the cycle. It sometimes makes such an awful noise that we have to leave the room and shut the door on it. We’ve had a Hoover serviceman look at it - he could find nothing significant wrong, so we’re going to have to contact Hoover again. (We’ve only had the machine for about three months so we think the fault is AO’s to resolve, legally). We have an audio-video recording which confirms the awful noise - it really is bad!

The noisiest machine I’ve ever known, I thought the house was being shook by an earthquake and it sounded like a plane taking off, . The start button needs pressing for ages for anything to start, to be honest a bad choice of washer, not what I expected at all from hover, it’s also very complicated to use. As a positive, it save me buying a massage chair fir my living room, not that I wanted one, but all I have to do is sit in my chair and when the spin comes on every chair in the house because a strong massage chair.

Disappointed with build quality

Extremely dissatisfied with this appliance. The installation service by AO engineers was very poor with no attention paid to need to use the appliance's adjustable legs to level the unit. After the first use and large amounts of water leaking from the appliance I spent two hours fault finding and eventually adjusting the legs to level the unit. The appliance is still leaking water from the underside of the unit amongst other faults; softener not being drawn from detergent drawer and fault lights showing. Overall, very disappointed and will be pursuing a refund for this purchase and the installation service.

AO were brilliant but this machine really wasn’t. The app just makes it more complicated than it needs to be, and after using it as a dryer the next wash everything would be covered in fluff as there is no lint collection in washer dryers. So using it as a dryer was only possible is you are prepared to fully wipe down the door and the rims and the drum so your next wash isn’t ruined. Awful.

We bought this washer drier after 6 years of a poor machine that we just never got around to changing, super excited for an easy life of washing with it. The first wash was superb, the clothes were noticeably cleaner than ever before. Then on the second wash the door lock mechanism froze locked, while the door was open... As it was two days old it had to go, a great shame! Perfectly handled by superb AO customer service...

The build quality of this machine is not what I would have expected. The control dial is wobbly and not the best, but is the same on all the machines, as an AO installer advised me. The touchscreen is temperamental, not too bad when using it for quick touch, but not when having to hold it for 3 seconds or more. They are also not in sequence, very confusing. Connection to wifi is very tricky due to the touchscreen. The manual isn't great. The spin cycles are very noisy, the 1000 and 1400 are especially bad. Regret getting rid of my beloved Bosch washing machine to purchase this washer dryer
