I always thought condensing tumble dryers were useless but this one is surprisingly good. Water container easy to empty and quicker to dry than a previous one we had.

Beautiful looking item, maybe it's me being old but I much prefer an item not to have so many preset programmes, what's wrong with having a time dial that the owner can just turn to a set time, ie 30 mins 40 mins 60 min, I just want dry clothes, not a computer.

Item is an upgrade to what we purchased in 1999, but with the application of new technology. The previous product had no technical issues for 20 years, and so we have a high confidence that the Hotpoint team will have improved upon what was already a good product. On first usage, the new control technology has worked well, particularly its ability to sense dryness and adjust the associated drying cycle timing. Currently no regrets.
