I hope people get to read this review as the poor ones clearly get covered by the “good” reviews. We’ve had this machine for almost a year. It’s terrible. It can take 4hrs to dry a load. Every setting takes 3-4hrs. The advertised 35min quick cycle doesn’t dry in less than an hour and a half, even if it’s just 1 shirt. Worse than the machine itself is the mind boggling lunacy you have to go through dealing with Samsung support. Our 3rd phone call with them ended after they wanted to know how many pieces of underwear we put in with our other clothes. Finally we got hold of AO support directly and they have managed to get us an engineer appointment. This was not a cheap dryer and should be avoided at all costs

The service and price from AO were great, but the dryer has broken 6 days after receiving it. Currently waiting on an engineer.

Bought an air pump Samsung dryer as a replacement for our old Hotpoint condenser dryer. Help the environment, lower running costs etc, but high purchase cost! However it is useless, tried all the settings, adhered to weights of clothing and fabric types. The machine adds time on through moisture probes, continually cycles for ages but the clothes don’t dry, no condensate is collected. AO “help” website advised we contact Samsung directly (abdicating responsibility, too focussed on selling warranties than acting on standard ones), Spoke to Samsung call centre as advised, they passed it onto UK service desk, got an email explaining due to Covid this may take a few days to phone me, nearly a week later and no contact), Shoddy to say the least. Ps I gave one star because can’t give it zero

absolutely awful. My first wash load was bedding, normally takes 60 minutes in my old dryer with a 6kg drum, this is an 8kg drum and same amount of bedding took 4.5 hours. Said 2.5 hours when it started, I went out shopping, came back after 2.5 hours and still had 2 hours on the clock. I was told it would take a little longer but that is ridiculous.

Difficult to set a drying time

Seems to work OK, but a lot noisier than I expected. Even though it’s levelled correctly it vibrates more than I expected and produces a low frequency drone. The sound level is within spec when using dbA. But when measured using dbC the sound level is high. (dbC measures low frequency, dbA doesn’t). However, my wife doesn’t think it’s too loud, so that’s the main thing.

A great buy. Easy to install and quiet. A bit complicated to understand what program to use for the best. Trial and error to help you make up your mind.

Seems to be good but looks a little cheap - the drawer for the washing liquid etc. doesn’t align properly and looks like it’s always open.
