    Consider buying this model

    5/5
Having read reviews with Which Consumer, I opted for this model. Always used a vented tumble and this is a heat pump condensing so it does take a bit longer to dry, but saying that the electricity it uses is negligible compared to the vented dryer. Price is one of the lowest for a heat pump dryer and excellent value for money!

Nice but much slower than a condenser dryer.

Well it takes a lot longer to dry clothes than the old condenser tumble dryer and it takes a lot longer to get warm. It is supposed to be a lot cheaper to run and therefore "environmentally friendly", but now having tried a heat pump device, I'll never be using this technology for central heating. Think 2 to 3 or more hours to dry clothes. I think this is probably normal for a condenser dryer and you can't use these in the garage as they need a warm room to suck the heat from to dry your clothes. It's quieter than the old machine and once you get used to the enormous drying times for this type of machine then I suppose its fine.

    Good but takes long time

    3/5
Takes a long time to dry, compared to vented dryer and far more expensive to buy. Not sure if you are saving enough energy to make sense, since a vented dryer takes a lot less time to dry a wash load and the cost is considerably less. However, if you can't accommodate a vented dryer, then a heat pump dryer makes sense. A 9 kg capacity is definitely more efficient, giving more space for the air to dry your clothes.

    Heat Pump

Early days but seems like it will be a winner. Picked because it was the cheapest of the new heat pump tech, but well made and designed.

    Quick and quiet drier.

    5/5
Great drier...is much quicker to dry things than our old one, quiet and keeps all the heat inside rather than heating up the room around it. Loads of different settings depending on what you’re drying as well. Would definitely recommend.

    very long drying time

    1/5
It takes 8 hours plus to dry a load. I have to put on two extra dry cycles as it is still wet after the first cycle. I am held hostage in my home by this dryer as I don't like to go out or sleep with it on!
