Once we unwrapped the item the oven from it's packaging, we noticed a few build quality issues: 1. Half of the screws were loose. The majority of which were on one side (the right) 2. A couple screws were not fired correctly, and so are not aligned. 3. The metal sheet that covers the top of the oven is slightly warped, and so has a gap that "may" vent heat 4. The oven doors were not correctly aligned, so are askew by a couple millimetres So the vast majority are "cosmetic" issues, but were a concern. Upon installation, we tightened the loose screws, and installed the oven. Used it for a week now, and functionally it still works, and the warped plate is not venting heat, so seems to be safe for use. But recommend checking these things before installing.

The main reason why we bought this oven was advertised even cooking.. But we just made potato gratini and it burned at the bottom on one side and was just slightly under done on the other.. Will try baking more.. But not impressed so far..

This replaced an old oven and is so much more efficient. We wanted a top oven with a fan to cook small amounts efficiently. This meets the spec we were looking for and, although expensive, was worth it to save energy. Easy to use controls once you get used to setting the programme first! Retains heat very effectively so you can switch off well before you serve up. Very happy with this so far. Definitely recommend this oven if you want the use of two fan ovens.

Excellent product. Poor user manual, but easy to work out how to use. Very good cooking results.

We’ve had this oven for a week now. We’re delighted with it. The instructions seem clear enough. The only part that wasn’t particularly clear was the initial cleaning process immediately on installation. They could be a bit clearer but honestly that’s just nitpicking. We love the look of it. I just wish manufacturers would supply 2 shelves for the main oven and 1 for the top oven. Seems a bit penny pinching to me. We ordered another one from AEG.

The oven is great, once you work out how to use the display. We’ve had it about a week now and only just getting use to it, the problem being the instructions really aren’t up to what the you would expect they are not clear and leave you in limbo sometimes, one instruction says use shelf 1 the problem being it doesn’t sat wether you count from the top or bottom of the oven, they should state wether they count from top or bottom, I’ve written to AEG to ask but as yet had no response. But when you get used to it all is great.

Works well, not sure about the coating on the sides yet, needs more shelves, 2 isn’t adequate. Heats up well, cooks food well, holds heat well even long after it’s turned off.

Very nice looking oven when fitted and quite easy to operate. Due to having no dials or buttons on the control panel it is easy to wipe clean too. One nice feature is that the interior lights go out when the doors are closed, but to see inside at any time you just press the light button on the control panel, and also saves energy. One draw back was there was only 2 shelves but I purchased a replacement from an online Web site for £16.45. It did come with 2 pairs of telescopic runners which are easy to install and make life easier to slide a shelf in and out of the oven. These accessories are usually £60 a pair so it was a nice surprise to get these. The catalytic cleaning mode is easy to select and operate but you do have to remove all shelves, shelf supports and trays before selecting this cleaning operation. Another feature we liked when looking for a replacement oven was the fact that both top and main ovens are fan assisted. So far we are happy with this purchase and it comes with a 2 year warranty that covers mechanical & electrical faults but not accidental damage, but this can be taken out for an extra cost when registering the product. I'm sure it will give us many years of happy cooking and baking.
