    Don't buy

    1/5
In a space of two days on our second unit and the replacement unit has faults.... The first unit, when being installed damaged the sides of the housing.... The unit was returned/replaced, as the in fibre insulation, was poking out behind the door seal. Second unit delivered & installed within two days, that's good service. But more installation damage, and one of the fans is catching its housing..... AEG is no longer a quality product...

    Uneven cooking

    1/5
This does not cook evenly, we've had it replaced for another and it's the same again, plus it now doesn't hold the time and the shelves are tight getting them in and out. Overall poorly made, badly designed, this is their top of the range double oven, a pretty poor showing.

    Uneven cooking

    1/5
There is a design fault with this model (confirmed by AEG's engineer), it does not cook evenly, despite what you are cooking your food in, be it the supplied tray or your own dishes. Disappointing, but hey if you like your meat cooked both rare to well done, this is the oven for you! The clock doesn't display whilst you are cooking, which is frustrating depending on how you time your cooking.

    Poor shelf design

    2/5
I like the many functions; in particular the defrost, but that is standard in ovens if you pay enough. Hence, I'd say this one's no better than, say, Bosch or Neff - both of which I've bought in the past. However, the shelves in the top oven are such you can't easily lift trays/contents from it. I'd prefer it if I could slide trays off the shelves as it's awkward in the relatively small and raised space of the top oven. I've positioned them upside down. You'd think the designers would have thought of that potential issue. Would I buy again? No.

    Good product - poor features

Disappointed that the main controls are not backlit so rather difficult to see. Rather difficult controls because no immediate response. Audible warning/timer too quiet.

    Rubbish seals

    2/5
I received my first one with the seal fallen off would not clip back on and had damaged the oven. Ao did replace this in a day however upon receiving the replacement the seal on the top oven is split. I am now concerned that there is a problem with the seals for this to have happened on 2 ovens

    Faulty product

    2/5
Bottom oven was faulty as it wouldn’t heat up. So far no problems arranging an engineer to visit and then AO arranging a replacement. Disappointing that AEG’s quality control did not pick up such a fundamental fault - assuming that they have any quality control.

    Could do much better

    3/5
Bought to replace previous AEG double oven. Improvement is that there is a fan in both ovens. Negative, the ovens are slightly narrower and there were only two shelves for two ovens!! so roast on shelf one, tray of roast vegs on shelf two in the main oven Ummm ....where is the rice pudding to go, oh I know the top oven.... wait a minute where are the shelves !!!!! Very disappointed, I have had to purchase two more shelves which are much less robust than my previous ovens shelves. Also no handles for the grill pan, what is that about !! AEG customer services advised no handles as customers shut oven with handles on and burnt themselves!!! My previous grill pan had detachable handles which meant you could not shut the oven door if they were attached. Why not go with this option? I believe that the shelves and handle issues are cost cutting exercises. This on a 1k double oven is very poor show.
