Door filters wears down over time, and ends up pulling threads

Replaced the door filter three times but it wears down over time and ends up ripping clothing because of a recurring issue with the mould.
Have used this for two years and tried to workaround the problem in dozens of ways and I'm convinced there's just a design floor with the door filter, so will end up having to get rid of this and replace it with a different dryer.

Absolutely fabulous, dries everything so well and no creases .
I had Miele tumble dryer for over 20 years, never thought I would get a dryer that would be better, but how wrong I was,I am so very pleased with my purchase. I would recommend this dryer highly.
