I was surprised when I first put my machine to work; After reading so many good reviews I though that was the moment to change my washing machine for one that dries also, so I didn't have to keep clothes hanging around. Well, this machine is like a train in my kitchen(I nick named it the Orient Express), it even whistles. wash and dry 1kg of light cotton in one hour, but if there is a towel in the mix, no way. It was install by AO personnel, so I suppose it is well installed and it can shake, 1400 spin shakes a lot although 1000 is fine, the noise is loud, and the spin alone does not do much. I, so far, do not believe I will love this washer and dryer so much to repeat my purchase, having said that it is my first washer and dryer and they all maybe be the same loud and not so efficient as washing machine only. Only time will tell.

After a lot of research we finally settled on this Bosch to replace our ancient 10+ year old machines. This was our first washer dryer combo so we weren't sure what to expect, as such we were shocked that when the dried washing came out it felt like it was still slightly damp— don't panic, this is normal! As we found out, it needs a minute to air and it was perfectly dry. You have to wipe dry some of the remaining moisture from the front of the rubber ring and clear out the build-up of lint every so often. We have also found the child lock feature to be extremely useful for accidental brushes against the touch screen, we put this on every wash cycle, recommend! We run a normal wash, and then split the washing loads into two to dry evenly due to the smaller drying capacity, but it's certainly not a bother. It washes like a dream, dries very economically and is super quiet compared to our old machines. The finished clothes come out super clean and fresh, and even feel much softer and smell better than we've ever known them to be. We're very happy with our washer, so much so that we're considering getting a matching Bosch fridge to complete the kitchen glam! 5/5

I love this - the size is great, I can fit everything I need in one wash. A general "mix" is only an hour which is great and the "my time" dry setting which allows you to choose how long you tumble dry for is also a great addition compared to just 2 + hours for drying. Would definitely recommend this product. Installation was also quick and easy.

Very quiet during its operation, clever the way it adjusts the wash timing in accordance with programme and the weight of the clothes, but don’t you dare forget it, as it beeps more that R2D2 ??

Had the serie 4 washer-dryer for 2 weeks now and have used it extensively. Delighted how quite it is.The laundry is cleaner and fresher compared to our previous machine (Hotpoint). Programs aren’t too long and are easy to use both washing and drying. Decided to go for more expensive machine than previous purchases and don’t regret it. Easy to install for the DIY enthusiasts (you will need a torx screw driver bit for removing the 6 screws retaining the vertical transport struts). Thoroughly recommended.

This purchase was a like-for-like replacement for a 12 year old Bosch washer dryer which was still going strong but the door catch had broken. This model far superior: it has a larger capacity, gives excellent results in less time and is so incredibly quiet, even on a 1400 spin. For the quality it is excellent value for money and the new door catch design is huge improvement, with nothing to break this time. The only thing to bear in mind if you are installing the machine behind a cupboard door as I was, is that the overall depth of the machine does not include the domed clear plastic insert within the washing machine door.

Got this to replace an old washer/dryer that had stopped working. This new one is practically silent when washing, and even when doing a 1400 spin it’s much quieter and doesn’t vibrate like my previous. I’ve had no issues with clothes drying - but I am a single person so I don’t have heavy loads.. It takes a while to dry but that’s expected. It doesn’t have as many washing programmes as my previous machine. I would have liked a 60 minute daily wash setting (or similar) - the options are either very quick (15 mins) or 2+ hours (unless I’ve missed something). That is why I’m giving 4 rather than 5 stars.

Suitable for an open plan room as this model is impressively quiet. Looks smart and has versatile settings including a reduce time setting which is helpful.
