Nice looking at a distance but the overall design is flawed. The hinges poke out at the top and looks ugly. The unit has LED indicators to show status of operations. Sadly you have to open the door to see them, they should put the LEDs on the outside. (They are hidden because of the bad door design). If something is wrong you will never know about it. The temperature controls are useless, the unit always just freezes to the maximum ~-20c. Why they didn't just put a dial to control temp I'll never know. You have the ability to re-hang the door to suit. They use security screws and fail to give you the tools to do this. There was a mix of screw types making a simple job difficult or impossible.

As we are getting older and stiffer, and the old chest freezer had problems, time to change to an upright. Most of our kitchen appliances are Indesit, so we are well aware of the brand. It is heaven to not only see all the contents without taking out baskets and carrier bags to find the elusive pork joint. It is also reassuring that the freezer maintains the required temperature at the middle of five settings

Happy with the freezer but the instructions are ambiguous. They talk about high and low temperatures but do not identify whether they are talking about room or freezer temperature, so it's a lottery. We're experimenting currently with having it set to high when its hot outside, and turning it to low when the temperature drops. No idea if this is correct, but it's annoying thinking I might be using more energy than necessary in these difficult times. if this doesn't appear to work we'll reverse it.

Efficient freezer, plain and "unfussy" . Easy to see contents, omitting the need to root around looking for things!

Very flimsy. You need to be careful opening the door as sometimes it feels like you are pulling the whole freezer. The doors and drawers are very brittle plastic with the door catches not being up for the intended use - these broke within the first 48 hours of using the freezer

Absolutely fantastic freezer. Its got all you could ever want its a self defrost and the top two shelves fold down and are not drawers which means there are no problems with opening at high level and looking in from the top. Its a good looking one and with the economy at the moment its got very good power ratings. The drawers have window like ends so you can see in, i do believe this freezer will pay for itself within 2 years as its more economic and so saves the planet.
