Very fiddly to set up & wouldn't let me just use the cable from my previous hp printer/scanner & must be set up with WiFi, also this is advertised as a printer/scanner but appears you need a smart phone & take a picture of the document you want to scan !!, this appears to me to be false advertising as my old hp had a built in scanner bed .... over all I don't think I will be buying a hp again & will give another make a try

This printer connected to my wifi easily however getting it to pair to my phone or laptop was impossible. The message from the HP software you have to download was my HP laptop wasn't compatible. My fault - should have read the reviews before I bought it.

Great little printer - Ink cartridges are almost out of ink after only printing 40 pages!

Brilliant printer, small enough to fit almost everywhere in a office. When you set it up with your device pay attention to the app you uploaded and then share the setup with your other devices. It won’t work with old macOS (I have High Sierra so must use my iPad and iPhone). The setting took me about 30 minutes and I’m not that good at IT. Recommend to everyone

Best inkjet printer i have bought so far. My firdt ever wifi printer i have ever bought and Its nearly half the size of my other 2 inkject printers i have had. It prints good quality pictures pretty quickly and with it having the insta ink option for my particular model is a bonus as itll save me alot on ink costs and trouble finding the correct ink cartridges cheap enough for me online. My favourite bits of this printer are the scanner part and the colour and bith was rhe main selling part to me because the scanner part is not a flat bed type scanner it is like a scanning bar thats like 2 inches wide which is the white panel across the middle of this particular printer as it may be in a different colour scheme on a future model i dont know but you place your it that needs sxanned at the ooening and the printer draws in your paper your wanting to scan from the front and rolls it through while scanning it and is pretty quick at doing this aswell and is probably the main reason this printer is nice and compact plus its blue and white and i have to admit the first printer i have seen that isnt grey, cream or black and i think its about time companies made similar products in array if different colour schemes because it make the item look more appealing. Plus its a full wifi capable printer and can be used either conbect to your computer with a cabke or full wifi and also connect it to your mobile phone via wifi aswell and you can actualy email an item to be printed direct to your printer using its own unique email address which i have not seen before on a printer but like ibsaid this is my first ever wifi printer and it made from hp who are a reliable company and a good name and was a very reasonable low price considering what it does and the colour it is and all its features. Very sturdy machine, quick at doing what it does and once you get it installed and working through wifi and if you choose to use the insta ink service then your laughing because its quick, simple to use and cheap to keep orinting off all the things youll ever need print out from documents to pictures and this printer is ideal for both a business or for normal home useage and crafters would love this machine because of it being nice and compact easy to use and cheap to replace the ink youll need by using the insta ink. Amazing little compact a4 colour and black and white printer that does everything the bigger and more expensive ones do at a very budget friendly price.

Nice little printer but a real pain to set up. No mention in the accompanying paperwork of a couple of key points - 1) you can't download HP Smart from the Microsoft store unless you are logged into a Microsoft account (possibly no fault of HP but the help pages were useless in this regard), 2) it asks you for a pin during set up, which isn't mentioned anywhere, a search on Google revealed this be on the serial number label on the back of the printer! Still, once set up, it seems to work well and we got 6 months of free Instant Ink by signing up for that *within 7 days* of setting up the printer, and at a low purchase cost for the printer, it's very good value.

Nice little machine but extremely difficult to set up. Even though we had downloaded the drivers it refused to print and kept advising that the driver was unavailable. This went on and on and then it printed parts of pages so we wasted a lot of paper. Hopefully we have got it working now but it has been turned off now in frustration so we will try again tomorrow.
