It turned up did one wash then Broke down. Bosch repair is taking two weeks to turn up with no support from a0.com. I won't be using either ever again

With this model, Bosch have provided a seperate draw for curlery. That means there is no longer enough space for plates on the bottom draw and pint glasses on the middle draw, at the same time. Hence you need to adjust the position of the middle shelf each time you use the dishwasher, so can washing plates only in 1 wash and and pint glasses in seperate a wash. I have had the dishwasher for only 1 month and the height adjust mechanism for the middle shelf is already beginning to play up. The shelves have to many prongs etc, which makes it difficult to fit stuff in. Hence it always seems to be half full when I cant fit any more items in.

This is an infuriating dishwasher; if you have small plates and only drink from tea cups, it might be for you. If you have normal sized dinner plates and drink from highball tumblers, or have kids with endless water bottles, the VarioDrawer takes up far too much vertical space to wash both plates and glasses at the same time. You can lower it and wash your glasses, but then there’s no space for plates. Or you can raise it, and precariously balance tall glasses in the bottom, but then there’s no space for plates. The worst part is that it seems replacing this (otherwise superb) dishwasher means getting something much less well built than a Bosch, which is upsetting.

Dries better than our previous dishwasher, but sometimes leaves a horrible smell on items, especially plastics. Its very quiet and can notify your phone, or announce on a smart speaker, when a wash cycle has completed. I probably could have bought a cheaper model, but this one came with a 5 year warranty.

No reason to think this is a bad product, per se, but be warned there is a maximum height, which is, from memory, around 86cm. This was not clear on the online spec. As a result, post fitting, we had to arrange an exchange for a model more suited to a taller space. AO dealt very well with this, but obviously better to avoid the issue in the first place, hence the warning!

Seems good... its very very quiet . The WiFi thing is temperamental though.. drops connection. The programmes are reeaaally long too... one of them is nearly 5 hours! Quickest I ve found is about 1hr 24

Generally great so far and better made than our last machine. The cleaning had has worked really well and the energy saving wash works better than the intensive wash on our previous machine. The floor status indicator is also good. The 5 year warranty gave us piece of mind together with this being at the entry level for machines made in Germany still. Not a 5 as some parts are still plastic especially the height adjustment which quickly degrades when a slotted screwdriver is used. This seems like an obvious design flaw that would be easy to fix. The height adjustment itself is also not high enough and the one part of this machine that does not improve on our previous one which had metal legs

Works as expected! Large capacity, washes dishes and dry at the end. Only issue is pasta sauce type dishes need rinsing as it seems to spread round in a way the old model didn't do.
