Overall I am happy with the build quality of this oven, the oven door is really sturdy and the oven dials feel really solid. The oven has seven cooking functions including a grill. It also comes with a steam cleaning function, which works by adding a small amount of water to the bottom of the oven and putting it on the clean setting and when it finishes you can wipe down the loosened dirt from inside the oven - I really like this feature as it means I no longer have to use harsh chemicals to get my oven clean. The clock comes with a timer, delayed start function and programmed end function and it is really simple to learn how to use. The information says it comes with a grill pan, but it only came with one oven shelf and a baking tray, I would have preferred two shelves for an oven of 66L capacity. A negative I do have on the build quality is that when pulling out the oven tray with an item on it, the shelf can tip and it seems like it would be quite easy to tip the contents of what you are cooking onto your lap. The oven door can also get quite warm whilst cooking, which can be quite uncomfortable to stand in front of when using the hob. The temperature dial is set out as 60,80,100 and has no lines in between to help determine temperatures that are in between the dial markings, I don't understand why this wasn't included as I feel it is something that should be on every oven and it is quite hard to know if you are setting the correct temperature if you need a temperature between the markings they have provided. Overall I do like this product and feel that the build quality of it is good, it also comes with a good number of cooking functions and it is really easy to learn to use. I marked it down as I feel the oven door gets a bit hot and I don't like the way the shelf tips when taking food out of the oven.

Agree in total what the previous review states. Only one big problem lies with the timer alarm. When the alarm goes off I have to stand with my head touching the door to hear it. Hotpoint person re-assured that this was a deliberate built in feature as to not startle anyone in the vicinity when it went off. What a load of waffle! The oven does shut down at end of time but of course cooking continues for the next 10 minutes or so with the residual heat. Because of this I would not recommend the product for serious cake makers etc as burnt or over-cooked offerings could be had.

Fitted this oven 3 weeks ago after reading the reviews etc. The oven is very sleek and clean looking. the 13amp plug allows easy fitment. The timer has two functions and can be preset too. The self clean function works well allowing the oven to be wiped down after. I haven't had any issues with finger marks even after reading the reviews as this concerned me. Overall the oven works well is easy to use and looks great

Great that it comes with a 13amp plug. No need for hard wiring and extra installation expense like most other ovens.

I have not used this extensively but so far it has been easy to use. My only issue with this model is that is only comes with 1 wire rack and 1 tray, I would have preferred two wire racks, however that may be due to is price point.

Really pleased with this oven from Hotpoint. It has got the looks, with the sleek stainless steel/gloss black design and a big digital display for the time and timer functions. The oven heats up quickly, plus it also does this efficiently and quietly. This are a range of oven options to select from, which include eco mode and automatic settings for breads and cakes. The light inside the oven can be switch on or off and can reach temperature of 250 degrees celsius. I would recommend this product from Hotpoint.

This is a fantastic oven,very easy to use and understand.i like that it sounds an alarm when it's reached the set temperature very useful if you get sidetracked.you can also set the timer so that when your food is ready it turns itself off.less chance of over cooking. Brilliant. And the oven was cheaper at Ao then anywhere else. Excellent value for money.
