When our previous microwave stopped working we needed something quick. This microwave from Sharp is digital and also has loads of easy to use options. I love the quick options for things like pizza, jacket potatoes and dinner plates! Only having to press 1 button is great when you're starving and in a rush. Having a toddler means needing products that are as safe as possible and this microwave even has a child lock! I haven't ever seen this before and I think it's a really important feature!

Having used this microwave for the past week I have to say I am really happy with it. I would say it isn't as sturdy as previous models so I have put it far back for safety reasons. It is quite basic and clearly set out. There are a few buttons which are handy such as the Jacket Potato and pizza button - always good to have these so you don't have to look them up in the instruction leaflet. There is also one for heating plates which is fab. The Power button is controlled by a press of the finger controlling the different levels - the same for the weigh, really easy!! The door is opened by a quick push which makes it very easy to open. The microwave is small enough for a compact kitchen but don't be deceived by the size - the power is actually 800 w so it can cook quickly. Inside you have side ventilation, and it is roomy enough to hold your average size dinner plate or microwave meal. Overall a fab little microwave, sleek looking and easy to use -& what I really love is the button to reheat tea & coffee, if you are like me you will use this option a lot!!

So when I first got the microwave out of the box and got the instructions, the microwave was quite tricky to use, compared to my old one which was just a dial. It does cook my food much quicker and I do like the 6 auto menu buttons. After having the microwave for a few days I can say I’ve definitely learnt how to do it and it is a very easy product to clean. It is also very quiet The removable plate is easy to wipe over. Generally a great microwave with great build quality!

Absolutely no negatives to this microwave! Our favourite part of this microwave is the handy little buttons it has: popcorn, pizza, jacket potatoes and frozen vegetables. This is handy to have and the popcorn setting in particular has been great! You can also defrost based on weight or choose your own time,(we always do time but I think this is a good option to have). There are also buttons to reheat tea or coffee and reheat dinner plate, the latter which we use quite a lot! The microwave is powerful compared to our old one, and doesn't take as long to heat food through properly which is a bonus. The noise level of this microwave is, I would say, completely standard for a microwave - thankfully not too loud and we've found it really simple to use. Would definitely recommend this product!

Does the job it was bought for. Not heavily used. Casing gets a bit hot in use but what do you expect for the money.

I thought this was a great little microwave until I come home 2 hrs after using to find kitchen full of strong smell of something burning. Finally identified it was microwave. The side and bottom continued to get even hotter even though shut off. Had to put outside as thought it may go on fire! It's only just over a year old.
