this hob had a catastrophic fault hours after it was installed by a professional and burst into flames - could have burnt the house down - Bosh customer service is useless.

The pizza setting burns if you follow guidelines in the handbook. The setting take months to used to, it’s not something I would buy again. It either undercooks or over cooks if you follow guidelines on the food packaging.

I wish I had never seen this hob. It looks cheap, scratches easily, pan supports are cheap and nasty. Shall be getting rid of it when I have had a little use out of it. Very disappointed, I ordered BOSCH because I thought the name meant quality. Had I not have had to pay dearly to have it fitted, it would be gone by now, I really hate it !

It’s a very basic hob. Very shiny, scratched already. It’s tin like, Feels quite flimsy. The pan supports feel flimsy too. I bought it to replace a Siemens. Really disappointed with this. Delivery and fitting from AO was excellent service. Down side to not being able to see a product before buying and it being fitted.

Doesn't sit down on work top flat keeps springing up on one side

This hob could have been made by anybody as the usual Bosch quality was NOT there for me! The stainless top looked a bit thin and tinny in appearance. As with other hobs the right hand corner (with gas connection below) was not able to be properly secured as the securing clip under was a distance away from the corner because of the gas connection, so when operating the top control knob it moved the stainless top which looked awful. The only thing I could do was silicon it in position to stop it moving. The pan supports were thin with no rubber cushions underneath so it moved metal on metal. Won't be buying another one of these.

Product itself works fine although after paying £100 for a gas safety engineer to install i was left with a gas leak as install wasnt done correctly m. Had to get British Gas out to make safe.
