today I shall be reviewing the PBP6B5B80 Bosch hob. Sadly even though it arrived at begging of the week I wasn't able to find anyone to fit it till only a few days ago. So I haven't had a lot of time to use it but one of its main features is it has varied sized burners making it perfect for all types of saucepans and even kettles. Also it has easily clean able parts which you can simply just remove and put in your dishwasher or sink with some soap and it come up as if it was brand new again. For me I used to have a problem with my old hob were if I had a big pan on the hob and I was not careful it would start to melt the dials but with this Bosch hob they have put the small burners closest to the dials minimising the chance of this happening. So all in all for what little time I have had with this hob it has made a mass improvement to my cooking environment and will also give you a greater peace of mind with other people in the house as it has a gas shut off system if the flame goes out.

Nice hob can't really fault other than the steel pot supports could be a little closer together to make smaller pots more stable

Brought this hob for my son and daughter in law to match their oven. My daughter in law rated the above so apologies for the low score regarding cleaning but this is to be expected from the youngsters of today. What is wrong with abit of elbow grease. Kids of today don't know what hard work is. I think it's great, as I have an induction hob I am used to cleaning after every use so I wouldn't find it a problem.

I wish I had never seen this hob. It looks cheap, scratches easily, pan supports are cheap and nasty. Shall be getting rid of it when I have had a little use out of it. Very disappointed, I ordered BOSCH because I thought the name meant quality. Had I not have had to pay dearly to have it fitted, it would be gone by now, I really hate it !

The gas hob is a delight to use. It meets modern safety standards which our 15 year old one did not and gave us concerns.The gas can not come out unless you ignite it which means if you accidently turn the knob nothing happens.

.Hob looks lovely it ignites quickly and when turned off it has a safety mechanism that clicks after turned off for safety. Pans sit nicely on grids. Only trouble it feels a bit tiney ,quality could be better . I chose this because I wanted the knobs/switches on the side not at the front of the hob. If you are a bit OCD with cleaning like me you have to wipe with dry clothe to get rid of smears,
