The best feature is the enamel interior, but it is spoilt by having an annoying dirt trap just inside the door at the top, heaven knows why they felt the need to build this irritating feature into the unit. As other people have said - the door isn't as robust as other makes, but I guess it is capable of it's job, ours has some cosmetic moulding damage on the rim of the door and also a sharp bit of metal on the top door support. As also mentioned by other reviewers, the power seems much less than our previous ones, although it's billed as being 1000 watts (which is higher power than the previous ones we have had) it takes much longer to do everyday tasks, with our previous microwave a minute would make the food or drink really hot, this one is no where near as efficient. The light is bright when the door is open, but you can barely see anything when the door is closed. Based upon the issues above I wouldn't buy another Samsung Microwave, if it gives long service I may soften towards it, but so far we have been extremely disappointed with it.

Expensive for what it is, and the controls feel a bit cheap, but it does the job. Let's hope it lasts longer than the 13 months our previous microwave lasted for!

Does the job well for the price - it doesn't have sone of the "advanced" features of pricier models - but I: 1) never use them and 2) am not sure they are much more than gimmicky anyway. 2 issues are with yhe door - very plasticy and I do worry a bit about its robustness long term. Second is the door is so dark it is hard to see inside. Other than that, spot on for the price - great size, power and ease of use. Other than the minor door issue feels solid and controls responsive

Good efficient microwave with a large turntable with space for large dishes. When the microwave oven is being used there is a rattle inside which I discovered was the glass turntable that sits on the middle fixing. This doesn't effect the use of the microwave in anyway but thought it would be worth mentioning.

Bought to replace a 15 year old microwave that was on it's last legs. Vastly updated technology that will take some getting used to. The 28 litre model is very big, which is great for fitting large dinner plates inside. I've only had it for a week but food appears to be heated evenly, although for a 1000w machine food is not as hot as I expected. The eco function is a welcome addition.
