A Universal Design Problem ?
3/5
A well made machine bought to replace a cylinder model twice as powerful which had served many years.
After three uses of this cleaner I am still struggling to vacuum the short pile carpets at home, a job that use to take 20 minutes is now up to twice as long. The problem is adjusting the suction regulation, enough to pick up and push along without the floor nozzle clamping the surface.
I see this as a major design flaw brought about by legislation that has halved the input power, demanding in this case; a big reduction in cleaning width, poor edge suction and the nozzle having to be in tight contact with the surface, hence the immovability vs suction.
I will stick with it, but buyers of post legislation cleaners beware!
