Lasted 15 months before it broke down. Despite being under warranty, AEG would not repair it. AO replaced it for me, all credit to them. But what sort of washing machine lasts only 15 months? AEG were very offhand, borderline offensive.

Nice washer dryer, fine & quiet, only complaint is tumble dryer leaves things more creased than my last one did, can be fixed by running through the steam setting after but that's extra work I wasn't anticipating.

It's OK. Although it doesn't seem to have all those intelligent options described in the product video. I don't see an option to adjust drying time automatically based on weight of clothes. I also don't see how to set low/med/high drying. Clothes smell funny after drying, not sure whether because they were in the drier for too long.

This AEG unit was to replace a failed Bosch integrated washer/dryer so you would think it would be a straightforward swap over. However, neither the filling or drain hoses were long enough. This meant changes to the plumbing. In addition the door hinge mounting points were different, which meant the integrated door didn't fit either. This is supposedly an A rated machine, but a full wash/dry programme takes in excess of seven hours. There is a facility to manually reduce the time, but then items come out still quite damp.

So far so good. I have yet to work out exactly how to do very much with it but what I do use is fine.

The spinning on the washer is nice and quiet. Only downsize is- not a very quick wash

So far it works well. It’s quiet; the clothes are washed clean; and clothes are dry when they come out even on an integrated cycle. Why one star short of perfection? Drum capacity below that recommended for cleaning duvets and maybe large blankets. Otherwise it does what you want from a machine - clean and dries laundry

This wash dryer is certainly a step up from previous ones ,as its quiet and washes to a high standard .Seems a little too technical for an older woman ,but I am getting slowly used to all the various programmes .Would be the ideal buy for a family .Recommendable generally .
