Lasted 15 months before it broke down. Despite being under warranty, AEG would not repair it. AO replaced it for me, all credit to them. But what sort of washing machine lasts only 15 months? AEG were very offhand, borderline offensive.

This AEG unit was to replace a failed Bosch integrated washer/dryer so you would think it would be a straightforward swap over. However, neither the filling or drain hoses were long enough. This meant changes to the plumbing. In addition the door hinge mounting points were different, which meant the integrated door didn't fit either. This is supposedly an A rated machine, but a full wash/dry programme takes in excess of seven hours. There is a facility to manually reduce the time, but then items come out still quite damp.

We had Electrolux washer/dryer previously. It made a lot of noise, was the major contributor in our monthly electric bill and took really long time to complete the cycle. We were hesitant going for AEG washer/dryer as it is a bit costly. But, our experience so far (just under a month) has been very pleasant: 1. It is significantly quieter than the previous machine 2. It is smarter and efficient. The time gets adjusted based on load and type of clothes so it would save us on electric bill over the longer term 3. It doesn't vibrate at all compared to our previous machine 4. The anti-crease function is super - the clothes really come out nicely - so some saving on ironing as well 5. The steam option is real handy as it just steam cleans the clothes without putting it through a full cycle run Overall, we love this machine and happy with our purchase. However, if you do have space and can afford - the best option is to go for a separate washer and dryer. But, if you don't have that luxury then go for this machine. Also, we are very happy with AO service. There was a steel pin missing so we couldn't place a door on the washer/dryer. The AO team even during the Covid-19 contacted AEG and got us the missing part in a quick turnaround. I would recommend you the washer/dryer and AO as an online retailer. This was our first time purchase with them!

We had this machine for about 2 weeks. It's replacing a much older model of AEG, Which was probably 15yrs old, and this is much quieter and cleans better. The time saver on cycles and short cycles are very handy. Also looking forward to trying the steam function. Only thing is that drying time for a small load is well over an hour...but I guess that is the standard with the combined washer/dryers.

Brilliant washer does even more than I imagined It’s has a quick wash which also drys with in the hour - the steam setting is great for freshing up a dress to wear again takes out creases etc ideal for quick turnaround- I like the time delay button which means you can set the time to suit your life style - wool hand wash is a great asset saves so much time to do a load all at once - delighted with this product

Sceptical with regards the washer dryer as previous ones have not performed well. Chose this one based on reviews. Not disappointed. Expensive. But as usual you get what you pay for..

Really easy to use and with a load of useful different programs. Having an open plan kitchen and living room means that I really need a quiet machine, and this is silent - you can forget it's even on at times.

It’s quiet, lots of different programmes to choose from, so can wash anything perfectly. Bigger drum than my old machine. Very happy.
