We ordered our new fridge/freezer on 21 December after our 18 year old one packed up - just in time for Christmas!!! The new one came on 23 December, delivered by two chaps who were very efficient at taking the old one away and installing the new one - all in about twenty minutes. My only beef would be that I received an email the day before it was delivered to advise me it would be delivered sometime between 7am and 7pm. That meant getting up way before I normally do, as I’m retired, and waiting all day - they arrived at 3.30pm. Anyway a satisfactory result.

This fridge freezer is a good high but inside the fridge freezer it's very narrow shelfs are deep.

Good fridge, fits the narrow space I have in my new house, keeps things cold and fresh! In an ideal world I’d have liked a bottle rack, but you can’t have everything..! Freezer is also good - I love the extra deep middle drawer, really handy.

Good fridge freezer, plenty of space in both thanks to the 50/50 split. Cooled down quickly and fruit and veg last ages in the drawer. Simple use buttons to adjust temperature of the freezer and a dial to control the fridge temperature.

A large and nice looking fridge. It cooled very quickly, it is quiet and seems to be quite well laid out. The air flow fans seems to be keeping everything dry and frost free. Internally it is quite simple (no lidded cheese shelf for example) and things like the egg cups are loose as they aren't a custom fit, but the glass shelves fit securely and are easy to clean. The LED lighting is modern and effective. There is no separate drawer for ice trays, but this means there is more room in the drawers. Separate controls for the freezer and the fridge are a useful feature. Holiday mode will help with the energy savings.

I've had this new Bosch fridge/feezer for a few weeks now. I wanted to wait until fully used to it, before giving my feedback. It's an absolutely terrific unit. I have an open plan kitchen and sitting room, so whilst sat here on the sofa, away over in the kitchen I can see the unit..BUT..never hear it !! At first I was a bit disconcerted, wondering if it was working OK. But after several checks, and hearing it, minimally, when very close to it - I knew there was nothing to worry about. This appliance is smaller than the one it replaced, also a 50/50 split unit. However the fridge is so well laid out, that it seems to have just as much space as my last one - a bit of a Tardis effect, and clever design layout. Also the cold circulation, whereby items are coolest at the top of the fridge - is unique, though highly effective. I have two thermometers, one for the fridge and one for the freezer. It's surprising how low you need to turn the dial to retain a fridge temperature of around 2 or 3 degrees. The recommended position in the manual, you would describe - if using a clock/watch - as facing 9. That in itself is pretty low, but to achieve 2 or 3 degrees, mine needs only to be between (clock face analogy still) 7 and 8. I would imagine with such efficiency, that any high/maximum use of the dial would surely have it into freezer territory !!. Not complaining, as it is very efficient with minimal electric for a safe fridge, super cool drinks and fresh food really kept to the maximum time. The fridge light is also bright and throws a great even illumination making it easy to see all parts and items. The shelves are thinner than on my old appliance, but appear to be of a sturdy good quality. In terms of the freezer, I was unsure if I would take to the 3 drawer, with one being a large capacity holder. I however, also enjoy this now, and rather than fill it with many smaller items, I use it for larger things like loaves of bread, large joints of meat etc..so there are never too many items to sort through. The recommended setting for freezers here in the UK, is -18. The second thermometer, confirms everytime I check, that it is spot on to that set value. The upper drawer does narrow towards the rear, but I personally have not found it to be a hindrance at all. Lastly it is handy to have a door alarm - which though not loud or grating, will remind you if it is not fully shut. I cannot fault this product in any way - similarly the expert installation and quick removal of my old faulty one. AO are consistently excellent in their customer service, delivery times, installation and aftercare. 100% recommended without a doubt. Best fridge freezer we have ever had, runs very quietly, good drawers in the freezer the middle one is really deep, great for loaves of bread and holds lots of frozen food. The fridge has plenty of room for all your chilled items and is the perfect height for accessing. Would highly recommend this good quality product the stainless steel effect looks nice in our open plan kitchen. Found the reviews very useful they helped me make the decision to buy.
