I've had the cooker just over a month now but it's many faults became apparant in the first few days. The hob and oven work fine and it's quite a solid build but it has a few design faults. The first time I opened the oven, I caught the door with my foot - the bottom of the door is so close to the floor, it only just doesn't scrape it. Over the past few weeks, I've had a couple of near misses. I'm getting used to it but I'm still surprised this got past the safety checks. Then there is the grill. I don't think I will ever be using it. The way the shelves are set, you only have two choices - really close to the element or too far away. Finally, and most annoying, the hob gets marked really easy. I mean as in the first time you use it! It seems to get 'burned' underneath the glass so that, no matter how clean you keep it, it will always look dirty. Two rings are already permenantly marked and time will tell how much worse it will get. The hob and the oven work fine though - though the oven takes a little longer than it should. It will do me for now and is an improvement on my old cooker. But it's totally put me off electric cookers. I'll soon be trading this one in for a gas cooker.

    Nice cooker

The cooker was extremely well packed in polystyrene with wooden batons protecting all areas of the product with a cardboard outer and shrink wrapped to finish, very impressed with this. Wiring up was easy although like most products nowadays the electrical terminals were not over engineered like our old cooker but that's how it is these days and no reflection on this product. In fact the build quality seems very good. We did see this model in a shop and were impressed by the build quality especially the knobs. On another cooker of a different make knobs had come off - on two different models! The ceramic hobs come on very quickly as do the ovens, we found that the top oven especially seems to heat up and maybe gets hotter than what the dial says but it's just a matter of reducing the setting, maybe it's because the oven is smaller than our old one and we're still getting used to it? What we do miss is a proper handle on the grill pan, with this one you have to use oven gloves to remove the pan which is a bit of a bother but something we will have to get used to. The cooker is quite smart with its chrome effect knobs which are very firm in feel, not wobbly like other cookers. There are vents at the back where steam emerges when the oven is on and this is quite normal. We are going to get some sort of worktop protector to go over the top of the cooker as we are concerned something will drop into the ceramic and break it. If you bought the solid hob version this wouldn't be a problem. Overall we are very pleased with our purchase.

Delivered and installed. Had the cooker a week now and can easily cook sunday lunch for family of 4 in the fan assisted main oven. Cheaper to run and the ceramic hob is so fast to heat up compared with my previous cooker. Really easy to clean Would definitely recommend. Downside None that i have discovered

    Cheap and cheerful

This was one of the cheapest glass top cookers we could find as keeping our previous one with ceramic hobs clean was a nightmare. This is a big improvement. Our previous cooker also developed a fault where the oven would take an age to fully heat up rendering it unusable. This one, especially with the lower oven having a fan, takes hardly any time at all and also cuts cooking time or allows you to cook at a lower temperature. Haven't used the top oven/grill or hobs to cook anything yet but tried them out when we first got them and everything's working fine so all in all we're very happy with the product. The only thing that would be a bit of a negative is that the wire trays that come with the cooker seem to be a bit too wide for the slots so when you insert them they scratch the sides slightly and also theres no notch for it to fall into at the back to keep it in place so you have to make sure you don't push it all the way or else it will touch the rear oven wall.
