AO’s service was great; absolutely nothing to improve. The product itself, as my title suggests - meh. It’s fine. It’s functional and does the job. However, I replaced an 8 year old Indesit washer/dryer which had had its day with this version. Same price point and visually and programme wise, the same machine. The model number has changed, obviously. This model just seems so much more lazy during the cycles and flimsy in itself. Examples of this - there’s no press handle on the door like the previous version (you literally just pull this door) and the drying cycle, which is currently on, has a strange ‘clunk’ noise every 10 seconds, almost like it’s the stop of a valve if that makes sense. I am a single person household so it’s fine for me, particularly at the price that it is; I do think it represents value for money. The ‘clunk’ on drying will become annoying very quickly though!

Awful machine. Replaced an existing Indesit which was fine for years but this model is an absolute disaster. I researched the model as I wanted a quick wash which, on Indesit website, it said it did a 45 minute programme. It doesn’t. 2 hours seems to be the norm. The dryer turned itself off after about 10 minutes. To their credit, Indesit conceded that the information is incorrect and as the dryer was faulty as well offered a complete refund. AO were excellent and offered a more expensive model for the same price as this so excellent service but don’t waste your money on this.

smoked badly when first used, is costly to run and has no quick wash for full load. dissapointed.

Washing machine itself is great. The actual drying function, what a complete waste of time. Took over 2 hours to dry just 1 king size sheet. Put 3 pillow cases in to dry on their own, left them for an hour, came back and they were wetter than when I put them in. Absolute waste of money. Also this site says B rated, the data sheet that came with the machine says F rated (which to be honest I could quite believe)

Ive never ever ever known a wash cycle take so long in my life. 1hr 50mins for a quick wash... no 'dry only' function. Used twice and swapped for another machine. Hopefully better than this.

Looks fine & washes fine. After reading the washer settings guide that came with it, it seems like there is no quick wash option unless you only put 0.5kgs in. Dryer function also takes a long time & leaves fluff in the bottom of the door as no proper dryer filter. First time ran the dryer it got really scarily hot on the outside and smelt like burning plastic. Not used it since. Was installed by ao so shouldnt be issue with that. Good points is that washer is quiet and you can emergency stop the dryer and the door opens.

This was bought to replace our previous machine which had stopped working - as a washing machine is a necessity we didn't spend a lot of time researching machines available before deciding to buy this Indesit washer dryer. It was delivered promptly and we installed ourselves, which was quick and easy. Having used it for a couple of weeks now, I can say it does the job, with just a few niggles. The instruction manual provided isn't particularly helpful for understanding how to work each different setting. For a basic washer dryer the controls seem very complicated, so a well written manual would have been helpful. I imagine once we get used to it the controls will all make sense. Also, the dial for selecting the wash programme is all white with just a small notch to point to the programme selected - when the room is dull it makes it difficult to see which programme is selected, as they are all spaced close together. It would have been helpful to have a black line on the dial to point towards each programme to make it easier to read. So far the machine has worked well on each of the cycles we have used - I like the various drying options available. It does seem slightly louder than the last machine we owned, although it's in a utility room so doesn't cause too much of a problem. For a reasonably priced washer dryer it is good value for money at the price point.
