Very nice hob unit. The controls are easy to use, though take a bit of getting used to after years using a gas hob. Heat is consistent and easy to control. No knobs to collect dirt so the whole thing is very easyto keep clean.

Firstly the service and information from ao was great. Delivery on time and the delivery men were very helpful and friendly. My husband fitted the hob himself and is relatively easy to do. Just remember to switch off electric at mains!! It looks good and it works very well. The controls are similar to my AEG ceramic hob - using the induction hob was easy. The pan areas are easy to see. So much quicker and efficient than my old ceramic one. I always use tbe residual heat and it works well on this hob. The controls are quite sensitive at first but I got used to them and find the hob quick easy to wipe over. I have to remember not to slide the pans ! Definitely very pleased with the hob.

Great hob, really powerful and so much faster compared to the traditional electric hob. I've replaced a traditional halogen type electric hob with this induction one and can say that it saving me a lot of time - it only takes 2-3min to boil a large pot of water where previously it took approximately 10 min. The immediate power consumption is higher than my old one but the time required is so much shorter. I can see my electricity consumption is reduced by approximately 30% versus what it was costing me on my old hob. I really like the fact that you can lock the controls (wasn't able to do this with a knob style controls) so my kids cannot accidentally play and turn the heating up or down. Additionally, as the temperature of the glass is nowhere near the temperature of the halogen type hope cleaning is so much easier and you don't get so much carbon build up from cooking.
