Looks great and easy to use. Don’t bother if you want a quick wash and dry though. I put it on this morning at 10am and the wretched thing is still going at 7.45pm. I dread to think what my electricity bill will be like. Will be trying to return, makes no sense at all having something like this. Such a shame.

We bought this from AO about three weeks ago, but it turned out that since the waste pipe is on the rear right (looking at the front) and not the rear left, it won't reach the appliance nozzle on the sink trap situated to the left of the machine. If you have blurred over reading this, then simply put if you intend to have the drain from this go into your undersink waste, and that is on the left hand side, then the supplied 1.9m drain hose (length to the actual pump) may be too short. Haier don't do longer hoses, and universal ones won't fit because the pump has a much wider mouth than normal. If you want this and you need a longer hose, Haier customer care have told me that I should extend it even though it is expressly warned against in their MI. AO have been brilliant in all this by the way and have offered me courtesy and options all the way through, but Haier Contact Centre told me (eventually) since it wasn't at fault, it wasn't their problem. Considering all the other reviews I'm sure this will be a winner when I finally plumb it in, but for now it is a upsetting the wife with all it's lying around and doing nothing, and she does not like that. 1star for Haier solution to my problem.

Machine is really good very quiet however the sizes that are advertised are totally incorrect, the machine is much bigger than stated!!!

Wow! This is such a big improvement on my 9 year old budget washer-dryer, the difference is like night and day. It is SO quiet, even when on maximum spin and I have had to check that it's still on. I had heard horror stories about modern machines having extremely long programmes, but of the ones I've used in the last week all are shorter, for example a mixed load at 40 degrees is about 1 hour 12 minutes, but the machine actually weighs the clothes and decides how long it needs. For each programme you can adjust the temperature and spin speed which means the duration varies. The huge drum will take 10kg of washing and even includes a duvet function - I haven't used this yet, but imagine it must be for a single lightweight duvet. The 6kg tumble-dryer leaves everything very soft, unlike my old machine where it came out like cardboard. If the wash load doesn't exceed the weight for tumble-drying, you can choose a programme which washes then goes straight on to tumble-dry without the need to do two separate cycles. My only slight worry was the sheer weight of this machine at 81kg (12stone 11lbs) on my suspended timber floor, but the minimal vibration means it should hopefully be OK. A handy light inside the drum comes on at the start and end of a programme, although when it switches off after a couple of minutes it's quite difficult to see what's going on inside due to the door being quite dark. The machine is a lovely dark grey and the control panel has subtle blue lights so it would look very stylish on show in an open plan kitchen. There is a delay function and a child lock if you need, and optional sound-effects for when selecting programmes, and a funny little tune which plays at the end of the programme - luckily, the sound effects can be deactivated. So far, I am delighted with this machine and only annoyed with myself for not upgrading years ago.

Absolutely terrible. The drum went on the first machine after only a short period of time. Haier sent out engineers to fit a new drum but the grinding and banging continued, so had the machine replaced with the exact same model. After another short period of time, the dryer stopped drying leaving clothes wet after being on a full dry cycle for hours. Resulted in huge electric bills due to having to run the dryer twice to get anything dry. Part of the problem seemed to be water being dumped into the machine at the start of spin or dry cycles, something one of Haier's engineers said was a design function to clean the door which was absolute nonsense as it didn't happen every time and no other brand of washer dryer has this weird function. Then the dryer started jamming at 20 mins left on the cycle but kept drying for well over an hour with the machine becoming very hot to touch and had to be swtiched off at the wall to cool down. The delicate wash function then started to jam at 18 mins and continued to spin for ages whilst displaying an error code stating the machine wasn't filling with water when it was. Then the door catch started jamming after cycles had finished and had to be released manually using a screwdriver. Had two engineers out via Haier who checked everything on the machine and couldn't find anything wrong with it. Thankfully AO were very helpful and got us our money back, took away this machine and replaced it with another brand (not Haier) machine that we're very happy with.

Would not recommend this machine! Have had continuous issues with this! From the dryer not working to the pump needing to be changed all within the first year. 5 call outs for the same fault of FD (overheating) for the first machine. Decided that it must of been the one machine. Replacing it with like for like 3 times I have had to call out for the clr filter and now back to the old issue of FD! Not what I expected with such an experience machine!

I was worried when i saw this product due to there only being 2 reviews. But i thought i would go for it, and i have been disappointed. I love the simply and futeristic design of the product. But its the massive drum and feature which are the cherry on top. The 10kg i needed desperately with 1 four year old and a 1 year old who are both messy pups and to clean and freshen my partners smelly gym gear and judo gi, which is due to the programmes and i fresh feature. The nachine has a 15 min cycle which i thought would fail to clean as good as the long full cycke, but it does and is the cycle i use for everything (i- fresh only available on full cycles). As for the tumble dryer, in 2 hours it dried a full load, of everything including jeans and was able to pull the clothes straight out to wear and in the same time dried my sons single 15 tog goose feather quilt.. if i had to buy another washer dryer, it would be this machine everyday of the week.

Great looking washer/dryer, worked really well until the FD error popped up. Haier replaced parts and within 10 mins it broke again. Turns out this is a common fault. AO were brilliant and let me have my money back but I’d stay clear of this machine.
