Always apprehensive about changing appliances as they obviously don’t work the same as the older ones you have to replace but, this is a dream to use. Drys clothes efficiently and much quicker than previously. Just one small thing that annoys is that the beeps at the end of the cycle are loud and at a quite high frequency and can’t be turned off at all, meaning it can’t be used later in the day in case it stops overnight and wakes you up.

To the AO team, thank you, the purchase and delivery went without a hitch. The dryer is lovely, it is quiet and has plenty different programmes to leverage. However, the feature rich - WIFI IoT connectivity and management of the Hoover tumble dryer from the Hon App turned out to be far from satisfactory. Thus far after two lengthy sessions with Hoover Support, we are still no further forward with the Hon-App and Dryer speaking with one another. It is like a Klingon trying to speak and understand High-Dutch without a dictionary or translator. Since I see other people have suffered similar frustrations as we have had this week, can someone in the Supply-Chain please put pressure on Hoover to fix this Hon App already. Time is the singular most valuable resource we have that is finite, which is lost forever if wasted. So we can do with less time wasting caused by poor implementations of untested technology by these big Corporations. Yours truly, Viktor Meldrew.

This is my 2nd one of these, only because my other lasted nearly 9 years before it packed up. This is a great model,its had a few little tweeks since my last one, all better ones i may add. Plenty of drum space. Lots of programs to choose from. It's very fast at drying the items too. The filter is simple to clean. The condensing unit is easy to remove to flush out any fibres. The water collection container is a doddle to slip out of the unit and empty. Added bonus being is there are indication lights the show when you need to do each of these processes. I personally don't wait for them to light up to tell me, but, it's a good feature to have if you forget to do the cleaning and emptying. This have WiFi connectivity so you can link it to a phone via a downloaded app. Handy if you put a load in and go out,so you can get notifications ,or indeed turn it on or off, should you wish to do so . I would recommend buying this appliance. 5 stars all round for looks, drum size,programs and ease of use and maintenance.

The dryer works perfectly fine but the design is lacking. The door/window seal collects a lot of the fluff and cannot be cleaned out. This looks untidy and leaves a dark and dirty looking rim around the door window. The water collector is behind a door at the bottom of the dryer, this is situated at floor level and requires the door to be completely removed before you can empty the water. This needs some force and cannot be done from a standing position, it can be uncomfortable to complete. I have had to position the dryer on a worktop to use. Not a good choice if you are not fit and fully mobile.

Works great however after just a few uses there is a lint build up behind the door glass where we can’t get at. AO customer service have been first class and have arranged a Hoover engineer visit. Hoping to update the review to five stars!

Sometimes doesn’t come on when pressing the screen got to be done several times this is the second one I have purchased and had the same problem with the last one eventually the panel cracked and stopped working but in saying that it is still a good machine

Initial impression is positive. Dries well and matches existing Hoover washer. Good drum capacity. Too soon to judge reliability. Dryer options are over-complicated: need to refer to manual to understand settings. Condensate tank cover panel has plastic push-fit catches that look all-too-breakable. Could easily improve with a better catch design.
