Had to replace first fridge as cheap plastic corner on bottom of door caught in the hinge tearing the metal edge. It also had to be on full to keep cool enough. Second fridge was installed but that wouldn't even turn on. Third fridge was delivered same problem wouldn't even turn on dead as a dodo. Moral of the story is don't buy a hotpoint. Utter and total rubbish.

Very nice fridge, but the same could not be said for the fixing instructions and the operating booklet was in every language except English.

I shopped around before I purchased this fridge and it fits all my criteria and some it's very spacious and the bright light makes it easy to see and find things at the back the claim of 8 bags of shopping is spot on plenty of room and I have turned the gauge down to 2 because it is very efficient and it is very quiet really impressed a great purchase

Well worth the money for a quality Italian built fridge. Like our previous larder fridge it has the countersunk storage box in the bottom which we tried to avoid but couldn’t, this fridge however has the two separate lids which vastly improves access to the lower storage. Fitting instructions take a bit of figuring (all line drawings) but in reality dead easy to install and set to work. (5 year old grandson even helped!). Once switched on had to check very carefully that it was in fact running - amazingly quiet. Very quickly pulled the large storage compartment down to operating temperature. Overall very pleased with this product.

If you need to switch the door position so that it opens right-to-left, then prepare yourself for an absolute nightmare. The holes where the screws are meant to go are full of a kind of insulation foam and it takes a lot of force and patience to get the screws to bite properly. Honestly it took me over an hour just to switch the door over. I've installed fridges and dishwashers before so I am sure this wasn't 'user error'. The instructions are shockingly poor and do not contain any written explanations whatsoever. The quality of the fridge itself is not too bad but you really do get what you pay for. The plastic grill at the bottom of the fridge is very fragile. I wish I had gone for a higher quality brand.

As ridiculous as it may sound to say that we were excited by our new fridge, it is true. Although it fits into exactly the same space occupied by our old fridge, somehow it is more spacious. It is well lit and has well designed salad bins. It was easy to fit. We wanted an additional inner door shelf ideally but the shelf from our old fridge slotted in perfectly although it was from a different make. There were no instructions on how to attach the front integrated panel but it only took a few minutes to work it out and all necessary fixings were provided.

The product is fantastic. However, the installation is not performed in a professional manner.

Cheap plastic edges on corners of door got caught on the bottom hinge jamming the door open. After getting it un jammed it had also damaged the metal edge. Had on full power but not keeping cool enough. Now having to wait for an engineer .Apart from the problems its a very roomy fridge.
