Delivery and product spot on..basic but very easy to use... very pleased.

This hob was bought to replace our previous version (10 year old) damaged AEG ceramic hob. The product was exactly as expected and hopefully will give the same excellent service - subject to accidental damage of course! The only criticism comes with the installation. The product is clearly made for many markets and various electrical systems. For the UK domestic supply only one live line is provided so one has to link Terminals L1 & L2 and connect the live supply to there. The necessary linking piece was supplied with our previous AEG hob, inconveniently with our new hob it was not supplied.

This product is working as it should - it's a hob so not a huge amount to say about it!

Ordered the electric Hob as previous one I accidentally cracked. It was installed quickly and works like a dream. The hobs heat up very quickly and is easy to clean.

Controls are easy to use and the various sizes of heating rings give good options for typical needs.

We bought this hob to replace our 8 year old ceramic hob from a different manufacturer that had cracked. So far we are very impressed with it. It is simple to use and as quick if not quicker to heat up than the old one. It is easy to alter the temperature settings needing less pressure than our old one. We chose this model as it has a ring that can be altered between small pans and extra large. Great for flexibility between boiling an egg up to large casserole or frying pans. Rings are nicely spaced. Easy to clean. So far it seems to be well built. It easily slotted into our worktop rather than using a special bracket like the old one had. We find the beeping noise useful and not intrusive.

Bought the AEG unit as our previous NEFF ceramic hob suffered a partial failure after only a few years of use. AEG is better build quality and easy to install. Would have got a full 5 stars if the heat settings had half steps instead of full increments e.g. 1 - 1.5 2 - 2.5

Bought to replacing existing aeg ceramic hob with knob controls. No complaints about old hob which was still working, so decided to replace with aeg again with touch controls as much easier to keep clean. Here's hoping this one as reliable. Looks smart and working well.
