This product was bought as a direct similar replacement for the one made by aeg for John Lewis which had broken after only 3 years and 8 months service. It was more cost effective to have a new hob than have the old one repaired. Very disappointed and hope that this new one lasts a lot longer, only time will tell.

This hob looks good, couldn't be easier to use, and I'm delighted to have it in place before tackling the Christmas family lunch.

Unlike other reviewers, I do not find this hob easy to clean. It takes copious amounts of kitchen roll to get rid of any smears and stains, unlike my previous ceramic hob cooker, and can only use expensive hob cleaners. However, my biggest criticism is that the heat from the rings, particularly the front right, permeates outwards, making the finger-touch controls, at times, too hot to touch. Engineer says there's no fault. Wouldn't buy again.

It's not the best. Locking feature is very clumsy and unintuitive

Just what we wanted, so many don't have split rings. easy to use

Very happy with this hob. High degree of control and very easy to clean because of the touch controls. No raised dials for food/dirt to hide under. Excellent piece of kit.
