Bought to replacing existing aeg ceramic hob with knob controls. No complaints about old hob which was still working, so decided to replace with aeg again with touch controls as much easier to keep clean. Here's hoping this one as reliable. Looks smart and working well.

This is the second hob I've had of this make and model, I had to buy a new one as this first one was accidentally damaged during some building work, I could of chosen a different brand but as I was always pleased with its performance and looks anything else was not an option.

Works the same as a gas hob - very quick to turn up or down. Controls very easy and self explanatory - no complex timers or gadgets. Does show dust and marks because of the black glass, but can be quickly cleaned.

Brilliant Hob, Heats up almost instantly and looks really good.

This has got to be the easiest kitchen appliance to cook with. How to use it is obvious- mainly due to the ceramic top having the heating possibilities in the ceramic. Want a ceramic hob? Buy this one!

Very easy to use. Heats quickly and looks good. Easy to clean with Hobrite. Beware of dropping things on it as this is a replacement for one that cracked when a melamine chopping board fell out of the cupboard onto it!

This hob looks great and has easy to use touch controls. The touch controls make it MUCH easier to clean - glad I paid the extra. The double ring is great and gives much more flexibiity for cooking; particularly when cooking smaller amounts. Previous reviews have mentioned the annoying bleeping but I disagree; it bleeps when you turn it on but you can press and hold the power functions when adjusting and they don't bleep. If you put something on the hob whilst it's cooling it bleeps but that's to alert you. Only small downside with it being black, it marks easily but hob cleaner sorted it as I didn't want to use a scourer
