had to send back as did not come with flaps for the shelves as it was supposed to this is a manufacturer issue, also displayed an error message for fan motor when less than one month old. would give AO 5 starts but product 0 stars

Bought this in June 2020 and it stopped working whilst on holiday in September 2021. All products ruined. Earliest service call offered is 10 days time - very poor after sales service. It is also noisy

Bought in September, had new fan fitted in November and it has broken down again!! Manufacturers do not replace any food lost despite a week waiting for engineer to come out and then probably another week waiting for another fan to repair it again!! Not frost free at all as it blocks up!! Do not buy!!

Delighted with AO.COM. So this review has nothing to do with them The freezer LED display did not work, the door open alarm did not work and the outside of the freezer was too hot to touch. AO changed this freezer for a hotpoint

Lovely looking freezer, nice wide shelves, deep drawers. Switched it on after standing for six hours and nothing. Got cold on the outside stayed warm on inside. So disappointed. Replaced it with different make. Can’t fault A.O. Customer service.

Freezer arrived looking lovely, and delivered by 2 helpful delivery guys. There ends the good news. Followed start up instructions in manual. 1 1/2 hours after switching it on there was an alarming bang from the freezer! Opened the door to find one of the glass shelves had shattered into tiny pieces!!! They were everywhere, and it was lucky no food was in the there, because it would have been unsafe to eat it. I phoned the helpline and was told to turn off freezer and not use it, and that someone would phone me back next day to confirm, but I would have a new freezer delivered within a few days. No one called back, so I phoned again. This time was told I should continue using freezer, and would be sent a new glass shelf within a few days. A week later I have still not received it!!! I'm also slightly nervous that I shouldn't be using this freezer, as initial advice given. Have no faith in freezer or vendor.

The AO delivery guys helpfully lifted the freezer over a table for us. Got all the sticky tape off and rolled it into the cupboard and it made a scraping noise from the bottom and would not level. Had a look underneath and the metal cross member that supports the compressor was bent downwards it was below the castors at the back, so it just wobbled and could not be levelled. AO are waiting for the next delivery before replacing. I do not know how this could have happend.

Purchased this item in 2019, it broke down after 2 years (out of warranty of course). Had it repaired, it broke down again at 4 years (same fault). Haier service department did not want to know. The original breakdown took them three visits to fix and the service agent did not seem to know what he was doing. Would not purchase this product again. A shame that Ao.com do not appear to have an extended warranty scheme.
