No where in the description or specification does it mention "climate class". This is important. Even more important if you intend locating this appliance in a room that could see low ambient temperatures, say for example a garage. The CC usually sold in the UK is SN, (Extended Temperate), which works between 10°C and 32°C. This appliance is rated at ST which is intended for use in Subtropical and operates between 16° and 38°C. The result is if the ambient temperature falls below 16°C the freezer stops working, switches off and won't switch on again, which means the contents defrost. Not good. I have never experienced this situation with any other freezer. In fact right next to my Amica is a 30 year old chest freezer that works perfectly at all the temperatures that the Amica has endured since we bought it. If I had been made aware that we'd purchased an appliance that has obviously been wrongly rated for UK use, I would have bought something else.

Can't comment on the fridge/freezer it didn't work,had to be replaced with a different manufacturer.

I know I wanted a small fridge/freezer but this is absolutely rubbish it’s freezer section is tiny and doesn’t freeze anything as not cool enough for the fridge not to freeze aswell !!!

I bought this as I now live alone and wanted a smaller fridge freezer it fits perfectly where I wanted it to go and looks good! The only downside to it is that you only get 1 shelf I didn’t realise that at the time of purchase!

Reasonable value for money. My choice was limited by critical dimensions to fit the hole in the kitchen and requirement for L/H hinge option. The user manual relies on diagrams but without detailed text. This caused me a two hour delay in connecting as the manual was not clear exactly where the top hinge cover should be levered without damaging the paintwork (which would show once L/H). AO or Amica could not help. (Amica never returned my call) The mains lead is way too short, not even reaching the top of the unit! I had to make an extension lead suitable for my space restrictions. Despite all the above it is now running well and nice and cool.

The fridge is true to size and was a good choice for the tight space in my mother in laws house. She also now has a fridge she can reach and a freezer indoors - great. Service from AO was less good. They unpacked and ‘installed’ the fridge- ie: moved it into place and plugged it in, but we’re unequipped / unwilling to reverse the door opening, leaving a very half baked job. Apparently this is an additional optional service available on some items only, so buyer beware. Not pleased that a 77yo with mobility issues has been left with a fridge door that opens into the middle of the kitchen.

Small & compact, ideal for small kitchens. Quiet. Not much room for large bottles.

Fridge/freezer is working well, it is ideally suited to single people, however there is a deep scratch in the side of the fridge which obviously happened before it was packed as the covering film was over the top and there was no paint chips in evidence, I have explained this to AO but have had no response from them, they are obviously not responsible for the damage but I expected some sort of apology from them
