No where in the description or specification does it mention "climate class". This is important. Even more important if you intend locating this appliance in a room that could see low ambient temperatures, say for example a garage. The CC usually sold in the UK is SN, (Extended Temperate), which works between 10°C and 32°C. This appliance is rated at ST which is intended for use in Subtropical and operates between 16° and 38°C. The result is if the ambient temperature falls below 16°C the freezer stops working, switches off and won't switch on again, which means the contents defrost. Not good. I have never experienced this situation with any other freezer. In fact right next to my Amica is a 30 year old chest freezer that works perfectly at all the temperatures that the Amica has endured since we bought it. If I had been made aware that we'd purchased an appliance that has obviously been wrongly rated for UK use, I would have bought something else.

This fridge freezer is ideal for me, size and content capacity, but can someone tell me why it constantly makes a loud popping sound every few minutes. It is not quiet enough for me to be able to ignore it and is very, very annoying. This popping noise can be heard in other rooms away from where it is placed in the kitchen. I bought this model in March and the sound is getting louder.

Reasonable value for money. My choice was limited by critical dimensions to fit the hole in the kitchen and requirement for L/H hinge option. The user manual relies on diagrams but without detailed text. This caused me a two hour delay in connecting as the manual was not clear exactly where the top hinge cover should be levered without damaging the paintwork (which would show once L/H). AO or Amica could not help. (Amica never returned my call) The mains lead is way too short, not even reaching the top of the unit! I had to make an extension lead suitable for my space restrictions. Despite all the above it is now running well and nice and cool.

Our old had died......so we needed a new fridge freezer....enter so. We ordered this amica knowing it was smaller than our previous one, giving us the opportunity not to stick pile on stuff we dont really need. It's great. The beat feature though are the freezer drawers, they're solid so no more decapitated icecream comes Well done thankyou

I bought this as me and my partner needed to replace the counter fridge/freezer we were using. We had limited space as we also had wall cupboards the new fridge needed to sit under, and this one worked perfectly. It fits snug into place and gives us more than enough room to store food for the two of us. I had to swap the door orientation around which was super simple if your handy. Plus the delivery guys were really friendly and kindly brought it up to my flat. Overall, would definitely recommend if you're short on space like me.

The fridge is true to size and was a good choice for the tight space in my mother in laws house. She also now has a fridge she can reach and a freezer indoors - great. Service from AO was less good. They unpacked and ‘installed’ the fridge- ie: moved it into place and plugged it in, but we’re unequipped / unwilling to reverse the door opening, leaving a very half baked job. Apparently this is an additional optional service available on some items only, so buyer beware. Not pleased that a 77yo with mobility issues has been left with a fridge door that opens into the middle of the kitchen.

I’m really happy with my new fridge freezer. Easy to order online and fast delivery with a phone call to say when it will be arriving. The product needed to fit a certain space in my kitchen which this did the job and although it’s a smaller size, it has plenty of storage space.
