Such a variety of programs and symbols to get used to and need to keep referring to the booklet. Would much prefer a cutlery basket than the shelf where the cutlery just seems to lie. This has a knock on effect on the height of the lower shelves. My plates are a standard size but have had to raise the top shelf which then means I can't get taller glasses on the top shelf as the cutlery rack is in the way. Also the machine stays wet even using the hygiene function though the crockery is dry. Overall if I had known how this would perform I would have chosen something else.

Ordered this to replace an old and faulty dishwasher with the good level of specifications and reviews. But after several times of using it now its just not that practical! Yes, it has a height adjustable middle tray, great feature, but, if you have it on its higher level to allow for dinner plates on the bottom tray, you can not have tall glasses on the middle tray with the cutlery tray on top. If you lower the middle tray to its lower setting to allow taller glasses to stand up then you can't fit dinner plates on the lower tray as the washer arm can not spin. The only solution is to remove the cutlery tray on top to allow for tall glasses and dinner plates and use an old cutlery bucket from our old dishwasher. It washes well now we have this sussed, but its not great to not have dinner plates and tall glasses and the cutlery tray all in use at the same time. Just wasn't thought out and designed that well.

The dishwasher it's of a high spec and very quiet. Lots of different configuration options blah blah blah, the negatives are though... Doesn't fit our square plates And only accommodates small glasses, not sure how we'd fit in pint sized ones!

Replacement for Bosch dishwasher,wish I'd stayed with Bosch . Doesn't seem to dry as well,eco mode goes on for nearly 4 hours and I've noticed a stale smell coming from it and I've only used it for a week with fairy platinum so you wouldn't expect a smell . Have used 2 different dishwasher cleaners .First seem to work smell went but came back a couple of days later so have used a more powerful one to see if that works . The drain hose only just reaches under sink so I have also ordered extension . The display is clear and easy to use as is the cuttlery tray. Personally I think Samsung should stick with phones and TV's coz dishwasher ain't their thing .

Not overly impressed wash programmes too long and dish racks we find awkward but we may get used too.

Looks good which is what you'd expect from Samsung. It's fairly quiet, washes fine but the drying cycle isn't great. Despite moving the basket heights, they don't adequately fit my standard size dinner plates and pint glasses in at the same time. It's the first time we've had a cutlery tray rather than a cutlery basket though so I think this is what effects the overall sizes/capacity of the machine. Had I of known then I'd have stuck with a basket!

Having bought Samsung TVs and washing machines, we thought we would get one of their dishwashers when our 15 year old Miele started to fail. Sadly, the performance of the machine does not meet expectations. Maybe I’m not stacking it properly but it does not always get things clean. Bit disappointing.

Good product attractively priced quiet and efficient.
