    Everything we wanted.

    5/5
Was slightly uncertain from the pictures and descriptions if this was a double fan oven or one fan and one conventional. Was very pleased to find top and bottom ovens are both fans. Not as easy to use as just turning the dial on a normal control panel til you get the routine of turn it on, choose the oven you want, use the arrows to choose the cooking mode (fan, conventional, grill and other combinations of those), set the temp and off you go. And the display of the actual oven temp is useful. Everything we have cooked so far has come out perfect and according to our smart meter it’s very economical. Bonus! Other reviews complained about being able to switch off just one oven if you’ve been using both. It’s not in the instructions but you simply press the button to select the oven you want to switch off then press the square option button once. Done.

    Should have a health warning

To be clear before the review AOs service was great as always. Do not buy this oven unless you have absolutely nothing - no cables, no sockets, no anything - behind where your current oven is. Anything at all will stop it fitting. A single socket means this cannot be fitted for us. As you have to cut out the bottom of the kitchen unit to fit it if you have a traditional unit (oh and your units absolutely must be down to the floor style walls and all adjustabIe feet must be removed) I now have an oven that doesn't fit and a unit which is destroyed and has to be removed and replaced mid run under the gas hob and a large bill. Really unimpressed. Don't get me wrong double ovens are bound to be tight but the rear tolerances on this is silly. Check and triple check and anything behind your oven avoid like the plague. Sure the oven probably is good if it fitted (our previous AEG lasted ages) *and AO where fab as always on delivery and service, but the oven has left a really bad taste in the mouth.

    So far so good!

    4/5
Only been installed a week so it’s difficult to give a definitive review but so far so good. Used both ovens for various meals. Yorkshire puds rise nicely, Lasagne baked beautifully, Chicken Yakatori grilled well. Pros: Both ovens are fan assisted and heat up very quickly. (Beeps when up to temp). Multiple settings on both ovens for various types of baking, roasting etc although the fan only will probably be used 90% of the time. Digital temp setting so no guesswork with dials. Easy to keep clean outside with a quick wipe down. Inside with catalytic cleaning (both ovens). Easy to read led display which gives plenty of information and an easy to set timer and this is loud enough to hear upstairs (unlike some). Good lighting makes it easy to see into both ovens. Good quality heavy duty mounting brackets. Good quality shelves and grill pan and reversible rack. Turn upside down to use as a trivet for roasts. Cons: Main oven smaller than my previous under counter and the internal width is slightly smaller too. One baking sheet will no longer fit. Top oven is a good size though and being fan assisted it’s a lot more practical than my previous one. This seems par for the course with most manufacturers of under counter ovens though. Telescopic runners are good but in reality you do lose space by using them. I fitted one to the lowest shelf in the main oven which means your bottom shelf will now be slightly higher than if you didn’t use it. The ovens are small enough already without this extra compromise on space. Digital controls are accurate but not particularly intuitive. Lots of options but give yourself 20 minutes going through it all for familiarisation. Check out AEG online video re: switching off both ovens. Main oven door is extremely stiff. Difficult to close gently which is a shame on an oven at this price point.

    Excellent product and service

Really pleased with my new cooker! It’s quiet, cooks really well - the Yorkshire puddings rise brilliantly and it’s really easy to use. I selected the install and remove service and I found the whole process efficient as and professionally installed!

    AEG oven

The oven looks great and works well. Should be noted though you may struggle to put a gas hob in the counter above this Oven.

    Sleek and efficient oven

    5/5
We've had the oven for a week now and we've cooked multiple items each day to try out the different functions - it'll take a while longer to get through them all. Our old oven was like cooking in a tropical cyclone but now we no longer need to choose between cremated crust or raw dough centres. Pizza has come out with a lovely crispy base and all our veg has cooked though whilst browning. The oven looks great and fits well under the counter top in a standard 600mm cupboard space. The touch controls minimise the amount of cleaning needed and the fan is quiet. Great function with the timer giving you a notification beep when the oven reaches temperature and again when the timer is almost up. Very happy so far.

Lovely oven - cooks brilliantly- takes a little while to get used to touch controls but well worth it! Also extremely quiet and would recommend.
