We had never thought of buying the brand in the past, but are glad we did. We love this AEG oven, it is quiet, which was important to us as we have a combined lounge/kitchen. We found the installation very well thought out and easy to carry out. The finish of this oven is exceptional, especially as it has a finish that avoids finger marks. We have found the operation a little confusing for our age group, but we are getting the hang of it. Our only criticism is the grill in the top oven. The double elements are not operating in unison. We have contacted AEG and have a remedy arranged with a service company.

This is a lovely looking oven well built. Heats up well. I am finding it difficult to get used to. I like to make home made oven chips but so far not much success they are a bit soggy on the fan function. tried the fan and grill function together but they are then in danger of burning. there seems to be an awful lot of steam with this. there was not with my old stoves one. The gill is not easy to use as you have to rely on using the temperature rather than a 1 to 5 setting I have not mastered this yet. It is early days so I might get more used to it. It does seem to cook things like chicken breasts well and they remain moist. The temperature needs to be increased.Example I used to cook at 180c for most things in my old fan oven and chicken breasts for example would be perfect after 25mins. This oven needs to be at 200c and for 30 to 35 mins. I Bought this mainly because of the catalytic liners which totally cover the back top and sides of both ovens this will be a big plus cleaning wise. I have asked for further advice on using the oven from AEG. The user Manual could be a lot more helpful. even if there were some recipes they had tried and tested would be more help. I will give it some time and hope it gets better.

Our previous AEG oven died after 11 years of faithful service so I was looking for an energy efficient double eye level oven. This one ticks all the boxes with both ovens fan is a bonus. Also there are two sets of telescopic runners included which makes getting things in and out even easier Controls are good once you get the knack For the super eco evident pro-life out there you can even turn of the oven light during cooking Overall we're really pleased with the oven and expecting another decade of excellent service from our new oven (And looking forward to the £75 cashback from AEG)

I did a lot of research before decidi g on this oven. I wamted a versatile double oven. Although the first oven was faulty and sounded like a plane in my kitchen.AO quickly sorted out a new replacement. Very happy with the ease of use and functions on rhis oven. It bakes and roasts well. My only gripe is the instruction manual/leaflet. It would be useful to have a clear aid to see the oven and the programmes. Ie Top oven ...1....symbol ....what its for Botton oven...1..symbol..what its for. Just as a quick reference.

So I have been wanting a double oven for a while and eventually settled on this one. My Husband had only one condition 'one of those self cleaning things'. My requirements were 2 reasonable sized cavities with at least one with a grill function and energy efficient. The energy rating of this model drew me to it, but the sheer number of functions made me choose to purchase. So far (we've only had it a week) we have used the fan ovens, grills, pizza setting and convenience foods. I suppose it could be that our old oven was pants, but I LOVE this oven! Heats up really quick the different settings mean you can customise the cooking, also timers for when to turn the oven on and how long to cook for. My only negative is that it took a bit of time and messing about to work out how to use the functions and I've still not completely got a handle on it (yet). Pros - Amazing range of programmes Fast to heat up Energy efficient Looks good Should be easy to clean Slow cooking function Defrost function 2 grills (great for big breakfasts) Cons - Somewhat pricey. Complicated to get used to the controls at first. Summery - I am very pleased I chose this oven, so far it has exceeded my expectations and I hope the more used to the settings I become, the larger range of meals and goodies I will be able to prepare to the right standard.
