1st one bad, 2nd one good

First machine broke after 30 seconds. Had to wait for an engineer to examine to agree it was broken. Replacement came snd works great. I like th energy efficiency and the fact it dries pretty quickly compared to our old machine

    Good dryer

Nice unit works well for me as I needed it to be slimmer to fit the space because of pipe work. Dryer has plenty of program options to choose from. It’s really good it does take longer for the cycles but I am very impressed.

    Nice looking but painfully slow

    4/5
This was bought as a replacement for a vented dryer I’ve had for 8 years. I wasn’t keen to have to buy a condenser/heat pump type dryer, but it seems to be almost all that’s on the market now. To be fair, the tank is easy to empty and not as messy as condensers I’ve experienced in the past. It has a good choice of programmes, but I do find this very slow. A load of towels on an eco cycle takes almost 4 hours, and when this finishes the towels are very hot, so if they need a cooling cycle that adds to the time as well. It’s quite noisy, there’s a constant background buzz/hum while the dryer is running. There are two filters at the front, and unfortunately I find them messy to clean. As soon as the door is opened, fluff falls out of the first filter and either gets into my laundry or on the floor. When that one is removed, the inner filter also needs to be cleaned. Taking this out to clean means that the fluff that has gathered around the edges of it drops into the space for the filter, requiring me to vacuum it out. Very frustrating. It’s a nice looking dryer, and a good size for smaller spaces.

    Beko Heat Pump Tumble Dryer

Difficult to give a proper review as it’s still early days so I can’t say whether this tumble dryer is cheaper to run than a non heat pump version. It certainly seems to take longer to dry a load and doesn’t give off as much heat as our previous one. It has a light inside the drum which I can’t say I have ever felt the need for!

    Heat pump tumble dryer

It is economic to run and doesn’t require hole in the wall for vents, but the programmes are very lengthy.

    Beko tumble dryer

My very old basic tumble dryer finally stopped working so i decided to get a heat pump version to replace it. Chose this model due to the shallow depth which meant it fits easily under a worktop. Very happy with the drying results and expect it to make a difference to my energy bills. Doesnt really need so many programmes but all models seem to be the same. Like most people i use the same programme each time which works for me. Dryer looks good and is easy to use.
