    Don’t do it!

    1/5
Complete disappointment, having spent over £200 more on this product due to its apparent savings, I have now lost that money. After trying for weeks to get this to actually dry something, which is the purpose it was bought for, I have given up. Between trying to speak to Hisense and their warranty provider blaming each other, we are left with a manual air-drier. So I have bit the Bullet, contacted AO direct and taken the 55% refund for them to come and collect my 8 week old useless dryer and replace it with a standard condenser that I hope will do it’s job and just dry our clothes. Essentially I’ve paid £200 more for the one coming than I could have done originally but for a hassle free life not spent on hold to various phone companies I had little option.

    Broken after three months

Broken down after 3 months. Waiting more than a month for parts. AVOID. Repair company impossible to deal with.

    Disappointed- very noisy

    1/5
Really disappointed with this heat pump tumble dryer. Read all the reviews and numerous reviews said how quiet the dryer is. When we first switched it on, it is louder than our old vented dryer. Now waiting for a Hisense engineer to come out to inspect this brand new dryer. Wouldn’t buy it.

    Very disappointed.

I fully understand the differences in how heat pump tumble driers work. I appreciate the cycle times are significantly longer than vented tumble driers - that isn't an issue for us. I understand that they require the condensate tank emptying after each use, that the main lint filter is cleaned before each use, and that they advise the heat pump filter is cleaned after 4 or 5 uses - None of the above would be an issue. What is an issue is that regardless of whatever cycle we use (even the longest 3hr 30mins cycle and with the extra extra dry option selected, clothes still come out slightly damp. They are spun at 1400 after washing, and recently we have spun them a second time. Even when the machine is only 50% full, the issue is barely any better (what is the point in paying for a 9kg machine if you can only dry 2kg at a time?) Our main annoyance is 80% of the time the cycle stops half way through (even on some of the shorter ones), when you wake the machine up the two warning lights are on, despite the tank and filters being cleaned before starting the cycle. (and upon doing it again there is very little lint or condensate present). - Oh, and other comments about emptying the condensate tank are right, it's a pain having to tip and shake at all angles trying to get it empty. The machine came with what appeared a couple of small cosmetic dints and issues (NOTE : AO have been brilliant and are sending out a replacement as soon as it comes back in stock, so again, not an issue.) I'm hoping that the issues above are due to a malfunction due to a bump in transit somewhere along the line, and the replacement will work as expected, or else I'll be asking for a refunded. Very disappointed. It could be resolved if the cycle times used the sensors to also extend the cycles automatically if they need longer, or even the ability to manually select whatever time you wanted beyond the 30/60/90 min option. We wouldn't care if the cycle took 5hrs, as long as it told us before, didn't stop half way through, and was dry when they came out

    AO good product poor

    2/5
Was OK but the door failed after 2 months and Hisense we’re unable to fix after 2 months, AO we’re very good and the product was taken back and we chose one from another manufacturer.
