Poor Build Quality - Writing this review for a C1745 dishwasher purchased less than three years ago. Initial impression was good but I would expect a new dishwasher to wash dishes satisfactorily. However the machine failed to run the other day so had to investigate. The machine had sprung a leak because the lip under the door had distorted. This happened because all of the bitumen insulation inside the door had not stuck down properly and the bottom piece had dropped into the gap between the door and the lip and bent it. Now water flows over that lip into the base and trips the flood protection. Have removed the insultion for now and bent the lip back into shape to hold the water in. That has got the machine running again but I'm not impressed with the quality compared to other dishwashers I have owned (Hotpoint - lasted 20 years, Tricity - lasted 14 years, Smeg lasted 11 years)

First one arrived faulty. Discharge pump was running constantly even when the dial was set to 'off'. The hour+ I spent making to calls to various organisations only to be told by the repair people that I need to call AO, and AO telling me I needed to call the repair people, was frankly a pain I could have done without. I was actually told by "luckily your product is still within the manufacturers warranty!", to which I replied that we'd never even used it once yet, you need to send a new one!!!!.. furious by this point. Eventually someone agreed to send a new one. The delivery driver talked a load of twaddle to my office staff about how it should be installed (like if he was so good at this, would he still choose to be a delivery truck driver??)... I have also just finished wiring and fitting an entire kitchen elsewhere, I know what I am doing with a tiny basic dishwasher! AO is cheap for a reason, they cut corners on customer service. These days, there are other similarly priced competitors, I might look there as well next time.

The dish washer works very well and deserves a 5 star rating however the instructions are complete garbage. and let the machine down. It has 6 programmes with icons, the instructions does not use icons but program from 1 to 6, then it has 5 indicator lights but do not know what they are for as the instructions do not say. I make a calculated guess of what the lights mean but I could be wrong.

It's the size it is supposed to be and washes the dishes as it should! This was purchased as a cheap replacement for a failed old model but turned out better than expected. The instructions are a bit of s struggle to read but that could be me. There is a useful option to set the machine to match your water softness that produces a better wash and rinse.

Really good entry-level dishwasher. Plenty of space for the dishes for two people. Seems to do a decent clean, including super dirty items! One downside is the capsule door for the dishwasher tablet hasn't opened a couple of times (especially on quicker cycles) - it's not a major issue, but that's why it dropped a star.

AO service is fantastic, unfortunately the product is just okay. The first one was sent back, loose top section and the at the base the sides bowed out and could see gaps. AO were spot on and collection and delivery was quick and easy. We received the second one and the sides at base were still bowing out showing gap again, so we presumed it's a design fault and decided to keep it, you get what you pay for I suppose and at this price level we can't expect too much. After a few washes we noticed that the base tray keeps coming off rails when we push in or out. Can't be bothered to send back. The dishwasher washes fine and does the job and we just don't want to wash dishes again lol ...so have kept it. Next time I'd pay more and not have these issues.

Does a really good clean. Our glasses have never looked so sparkling. I particularly like the delay function as we can set the machine to start when prices are low or solar panels are producing well. This is more important than ever with current prices.
