The hood itself extracts well, however the instructions are absolute rubbish, the slide in hinge mechanism is poor and it takes lots of effort to pull the extractor open and to shut it, don’t bother find a different brand, The extractor i took out was in a housing , this one just screws onto the sides of both units and is held in place by two screws which provides little anchor

Baumatic unit did not work, however the service I received afterwards was fantastic. Replacement arrived next day and was fitted and working well thank you AO

Good enough product. However does not come with carbon filterit plug. Which seems a shame/illogical!

Product is fine, a bit awkward to fit but works as it should.

Bought to replace an existing faulty unit this appeared to be what we were after; reasonable price, with all of the features we need. Arrived on time and well packed, and appeared to be just right size-wise. Installation was fiddly. The instructions were not as clear as they could have been and it is quite a heavy unit, so I recommend that you fit this with another person. The main unit seemed at first to be quite solid certainly the weight suggested that, but when I fitted the slide out side panels it became clear that this is quite flimsy and definitely in the budget category. Fitting the fascia panel was difficult and awkward and I am concerned that over time just 4 screws might cause an issue. There is no cross member you add stiffness and so opening and closing is definitely a 2 handed operation to make sure it opens squarely. Another criticism is that there are two outer screws on the side panels which interfere with the adjacent wall cabinets; I had to remove them to avoid the units being gouged whenever opening or closing the unit. It works, its reasonably quiet and efficient but it is definitely a no frills piece of kit

Broken plastic housing for runners this has to be held in place with a screw otherwise the grill which holds the filter will fall off which in turn could cause an accident to user.

Product itself is very good however installation instructions leave a lot to be desired. for example gives figures (20) from top of cupboard but 20 what? mm, cm, inches hands?

Not very powerful and a little bit 'cheap' feeling....but then it is a bit cheap! Would recommend at the price.
