Was wrongly advertised as A+ rated, this was the main reason we chose this hob and oven, especially due to the extortionate energy prices. We got delivered a different oven and after asking the question found out the oven we now have is only A rated. Hob was delivered without the accessory bag, so no fixing clips. Website details have now been corrected and the fixing clips were delivered separately.

Makes a lot of rattling noise when the oven is on and when I have it at the required temp and time food doesn't appear to be that well cooked!

Bought this as a quick and convenient replacement to our current old Baumatic oven and hob. I knew it would be basic but it is VERY basic. Does the job, albeit a couple of key features missing. I obviosuly knew it didnt have an LED display and timer but I thought a manual knob timer would do the same thing. Nope. Firstly it doesn't beep or make any sort of noise when cooking time is finished, it just turns itself off (although obviously it's still hot so food is still actually cooking), so you have to keep an eye on it to know when it's done. Also, as the oven turns itself off after cooking time, this means you have to turn it back on again if you then need to cook for longer. It's a hassle so I've just ended up using the non-timer option and using my phone to set a timer alarm instead. Ironically this is one of the reasons I replaced my old oven, as the timer had bust and I had to use my phone. It also only comes with one shelf which after googling seems to be standard for new ovens, so I had to buy another one from Amazon. Hob is fine and does the job. Wouldn't have bought this had I known re the timer/beeper - although I can't see anything about this in the description.

The oven functions well but it is quite noisy when the the fan is in use, it ticks and clunks a bit.

I took the time to read reviews before making my purchase, so was surprised that my oven is noisy ? Would agree with a few other things ... grill tray is so snug it scratches either side of the oven wall. You cant use the oven without the timer. Oven instructions arent clear. The guys delivering were great. Good communication prior to delivery. Got straight to work taking out the old, and fitting the new, and I paid extra to have my old cooker and hob taken away, but I was non too pleased to learn afterwards that I had paid more than others for this service! Cooker and hob look good. It was a fair price, but not happy with noisy fan oven, and the extra paid is bugging me. Not sure I would return to AO for another appliance.

The instructions for the oven are very confusing due to the booklet being for two models and concentrating more on the digital one. It’s been trial and error getting used to the controls as you seem to have to turn the timer on to operate the fan also the temperature seems to control the fan and needs to be set at a higher temperature. I had a few minor mishaps at first. The grill pan scratches the oven side as it’s a tight fit and only one shelf supplied.

Looks good, doesn't feel cheap. Fitted perfectly. Pleased so far
