I'd say this toaster is ok. The lift and look function is very good, and it's fast. The downside is it probably doesn't toast very consistently in terms of coverage on the toast and having runiform results on the same setting.

This is a beautiful toaster and goes so well with our kitchen. Toast lovely does a great job

Nice toaster, works well. The only slight issue is that the colour isn’t very blue, it’s more black. But it is still a good looking toaster.

Very nice looking toaster, not too big for my kitchen and toasts the bread very evenly. Got this to match the kettle.

It works well and toasts evenly. Both when doing 2 or 4 slices. I would have awarded 5 stars except that it is a tight fit for Asda's white thick cut slices. The slots are a little too short to take the slice and I have to force them down into the toaster. This is the first thick sliced loaf I have tried so I hope others might fit better, but don't really think they will be much different. The toaster looks very smart and is a good shape unlike many of the pricier competitors. Nice paint job too!

Does great toast

Oh bliss! Finally I have a wide-slot toaster that is sensitive to differing browning requirements. I have really struggled to find a toaster that takes thick and uneven slices of homemade bread but this one does and nothing has burnt so far. Crumpets and teacakes don't leave bits stuck to the wire, and frozen potato waffles come out thoroughly cooked through yet still moist. It looks sleek and elegant although as others have said, more black than midnight blue. The only reason I haven't given a 5 is that with long slices of bloomer, you have to turn it upside down after 30 seconds to make sure both ends are evenly toasted. As you can tell, i'm a fan!

It's nice to have a toaster that has a bit of style, I like to two tone colour, it's something different. It's spoilt a bit by the plastic chrome coloured buttons and trim. Otherwise, it toasts evenly and I'm happy with it. I bought the matching kettle which looks really good.
