Excellent, bought to replace a much earlier version which gave up after 20+ years . The browning degrees are easy to see and operate which they weren't before . Does everything it says on the tin !

Fast, but not super consistent.

I'd say this toaster is ok. The lift and look function is very good, and it's fast.
The downside is it probably doesn't toast very consistently in terms of coverage on the toast and having runiform results on the same setting.
